A diaphragm for a container assembly for dispensing products such as wipes or sheets, or collecting and/or storing products, including waste products. The container assembly has diaphragm with a central aperture and at least one petal. The diaphragm is a portion of the lid or the container. The aperture allows a user to insert one or more fingers (or hand) to pull the first sheet out or alternatively, deposit an item into the container. The diaphragm has one or more slits separating the outer periphery of the diaphragm from portions of the petals, thereby reducing the force required to deflect the diaphragm.

According to the present invention, a tray for a shaving implement having a powered device includes a base, at least one engagement structure, and at least one protrusion. The base has a length and a width that are at least approximately as long as a length and a width of the shaving implement, respectively. The base also has a height. The engagement structure(s) are operable to releaseably secure the shaving implement to the tray. The protrusion(s) extend heightwise from the base and are positioned substantially adjacent to a switch on the shaving implement that controls the powered device. The protrusion(s) extend to a height that is at least as high as the switch when the shaving implement is releasably secured in the engagement structure(s) and guard the switch from contact with outside forces that can unintentionally power on the battery-powered device.

A shaving assembly includes a grippable body having an upper end, a lower end, and one or more side walls extending therebetween. The body includes a storage reservoir for holding a fluid shaving preparation. The storage reservoir is enclosed by the upper and lower ends and the one or more side walls of the body. The upper end of the body has a razor cartridge receiving area for having one or more razor cartridges attached thereto. The upper end of the body also has a plurality of openings adjacent the razor cartridge receiving area and in communication with the storage reservoir. A pedestal is disposed within the storage reservoir. The pedestal is selectively movable between the lower and upper ends of the body for urging the fluid shaving preparation through the plurality of openings at the upper end of the body to dispense the shaving preparation around the razor cartridges.

A shaving equipment system is provided that includes a razor assembly, a replacement cartridge container, and a storage apparatus. The storage apparatus includes a body, a wall attachment mechanism, a razor assembly holder, and a replacement cartridge container holder. The wall attachment mechanism, the razor assembly holder, and the replacement cartridge container holder are attached to the body.

A razor cartridge is provided that includes a seat, a cap, one or more razor blades, and a relief centrally located in an aft face of the cap. The relief enables the user to get the cutting edges of the one or more razor blades in closer proximity to a feature (e.g., a nose) than is possible using currently available razor cartridges. In a preferred embodiment of the cartridge, a shaving aid strip is disposed in the contact face, positioned aft of the forward face of the cap and forward of the relief. The shaving aid strip preferably reflects the contour of the aft face of the cartridge that includes the relief.

A razor assembly having a razor cartridge designed for pivotal, swivel and torsional movement during shaving includes a handle and a flexible member having a first end connected to the handle at a pivot axis, a second free end extending beyond the handle and a longitudinal axis extending through the first and second ends of the flexible member. The razor cartridge, which has a major axis and one or more razor blades, is pivotally connected to the second free end of the flexible member for pivoting about an axis that is substantially parallel to the major axis of the razor cartridge. In addition, the second free end of the flexible member, and the razor cartridge pivotally connected thereto, are movable along an arcuate path centered at the pivot axis and are rotatable about an axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the flexible member.
