A regulator for compressed gas, comprising a body with a gas inlet, a gas outlet and a gas passage fluidly interconnecting the gas inlet and gas outlet; a pressure reducer with, in the gas passage, a shut-off device and a movable assembly operatively connected to the shut-off device and delimiting with the body a regulating chamber downstream of the shut-off device; a pressure relief device in the gas passage downstream of the regulating chamber; and a flow restriction in the gas passage upstream of the shut-off device, dimensioned for reducing the gas pressure at the gas outlet under a maximum pressure value when the pressure relief device is opened and the shut-off device is opened.

A valve system having a valve position indicator is disclosed. The valve position indicator allows for viewing of the valve position from one or more viewing locations. In one example, the valve position indicator includes a side valve open/close indicator and a top valve open/close indicator on a valve assembly. An indicator locking mechanism securely locks the valve position indicator in alignment with a position of a control valve.

Indicator of the opening and/or closing status of a tap or a pressure reducer

The invention is directed to a valve actuating device comprising a body with a bore and a bottom, an actuating element sealingly housed in the bore of the body and forming a first chamber with the body, a piston sealingly extending through a bore in the actuating element, the piston and bore delimiting a second actuating chamber, a passage for an auxiliary fluid between the first and second chambers so that a movement of the piston in the bore of the actuating member can increase the pressure in the first chamber and move the actuating element. The fluid passage comprises a restriction and a check-valve, both arranged in parallel, so as to limit the flow of the auxiliary fluid from the second chamber to the first chamber.

A capacitive level gauge assembly for a pressurized or liquefied gas container comprises a body with a base capable of being fitted in an opening of said container and an electrical circuit arranged in the body; electrode-carrying means are fitted in leakproof manner in said body and connected to said electrical circuit, said electrode-carrying means being configured to support two electrodes fixedly with an annular measurement space therebetween. The electrode-carrying means comprise a metallic support fitted in leakproof manner in the valve body and electrically insulated therefrom, the first electrode being fixed to said metallic support, and the metallic support being connected to the electrical circuit. The metallic support comprises at its free end a coupling means for the first electrode.

Capacitive level gauge assembly for a container of pressurised or liquified gas

The invention is directed to a valve for a compressed gas cylinder, comprising: a valve body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage connecting the inlet with the outlet; a shut-off device of the passage with an actuating pin extending in the passage; a check-valve between the shut-off device and the inlet, the check valve comprising a seat and a movable closing member initially held at a position distant from the seat by contact with a guiding surface and movable past the position by the pin so as to cooperate with the seat and prevent a refilling flow of gas from the outlet to the inlet. The guiding surface is on a tubular portion fixed to the valve body and comprising at least one radial aperture so as to allow the refilling flow of gas to by-pass the closing member when in the distant position.

The invention relates to a device for regulating a pressurized gas, said device including: a stopper () engaging with a seat () and capable of closing a pressurized gas passage; a so-called low-pressure chamber () downstream from the seat (), the low-pressure chamber including a plate () to which the stopper () is coupled, and the plate being subjected to the force of a spring () housed in said chamber () and arranged concentrically relative to the seat () and the fastening means () thereof. The chamber () is defined by a diaphragm () in free contact with the plate (). The opposite surface of the diaphragm () is subjected to the force of a spring () having a prestress which is adjustable via control means (). The control means are indexed according to two positions: a first prestress release position for ensuring the closure of the device at the stopper (), and a second calibrated prestress position of the diaphragm () corresponding to the regulator operational position. A sealed chamber () defined by the surface of the membrane () opposite the low-pressure chamber () is formed by the prestress control means for ensuring the connection to a detector for detecting the presence of a leak or of the used gas in order to detect a potential leak at the diaphragm.

A valve for pressurized or liquefied gas comprises a valve body () with a gas flow channel () and in this channel a sealing seat () for an open/close element () having a free end () where a shoulder () is provided. An annular seal () is mounted on the free end () of the open/close element (), the annular seal () having a front end face () facing the sealing seat () and a rear end face () resting on the shoulder () of the open/close body. A holding ring () surrounds the annular seal () circumferentially and comprises a radial lip () that bears on the outer edge of the front end face () of said annular seal (). The annular seal () includes an outer annular shoulder () on the edge of its front end face and the radial lip () with the holding ring () has an annular bead () facing this outer annular shoulder () of the annular seal (). The holding ring () is fixed to the open/close element () by a leaktight outer circumferential weld (), so that the annular bead () passes axially into the outer annular shoulder () of the annular seal () to compress it.

Valve, namely for bottles for ultra-high purity gas

A sealed flange joint for high pressure and/or high purity fluid channels includes a first flange with a first fluid channel and a cylindrical front cavity. The front cavity is axially delimited by a ground surface and radially by a peripheral surface. The first fluid channel passes axially through the first flange to open into the ground surface. A polymer seal ring has a radial outer surface and a radial inner surface, and is fitted into the cylindrical front cavity so that its radial outer surface engages the peripheral surface of the front cavity. A second flange is removably fixed onto the first flange, and has a second fluid channel in axial continuation of the first fluid channel. The second flange has an axially protruding cylindrical front nipple with a conical head, the second fluid channel axially opening into an end surface of the conical head. The conical head engages the radial inner surface of the seal ring to radially press the latter with its radial outer surface against the peripheral surface of the front cavity.
