Examples provide a door assembly including a dual operation slide device for a sliding privacy door associated with a seat unit. The door assembly includes a sliding door movably mounted to a door support member of a seat unit. The door slides laterally between a retracted position and a deployed or partially deployed position. The dual operation slide device includes a trigger and release mechanism for switching the door assembly from a primary track system used during a normal operation mode to a secondary track system used during a backup operation mode if the primary track becomes jammed or otherwise malfunctions based on manual activation of a release lever or force applied activation. The dual operation slide device enables a user to return the sliding door to a retracted position after a failure of the primary slide units to operate in the normal operational mode.

A door assembly for a seat unit provided within a vehicle cabin, in particular an aircraft cabin, the door assembly comprising at least a fixed base structure, a door element movably mounted on the base structure and which is movable between a fully retracted position and at least one deployed position, and a door slide device provided between the base structure and the door element to movably support the door element on the base structure. Further, the door slide device comprises at least a slide carrier bracket fixed to the base structure or the door element, at least one slide unit which is coupled to the slide carrier bracket in a normal operation mode, and at least one separate auxiliary slide arrangement.

The present invention provides a table arrangementfor use in an aircraft seat module, the table arrangement comprising a first table element suitable for being movably mounted to a mounting structure of the aircraft seat module, the first table element being provided with a first table surface, a second table element provided with a second table surface substantially parallel to the first table surface, wherein the second table element is mounted to the first table element, such that the second table element is moveable from a first position with respect to the first table element to a second position with respect to the first table element, the second position being transformed from the first position within the plane of the second table element. The present invention also provides an aircraft seat module, an aircraft and a method of deploying a table arrangement.

Table arrangement

The present invention provides a table arrangement comprising a table moveably mounted to a table mounting structure, a compensation arrangement connected between the table and table mounting structure for reducing the force required to lift the table from a lowered position to a raised position, and a damper arrangement for reducing the speed of the table as it moves from the raised position to the lowered position, wherein the compensation arrangement is mounted on a shaft, such that as the table is lowered, the shaft rotates about its longitudinal axis and wherein the damping arrangement is arranged to act on the shaft to reduce the speed of its rotation about its longitudinal axis. The invention also provides an aircraft seat module and a method of deploying or stowing a table arrangement.

The present invention provides table arrangement comprising a housing that has an open configuration and a closed configuration, a table, which, when in a stowed configuration is at least partially housed in the housing, and when in a presented configuration, is partially protruding from the housing, and an activation mechanism for opening and closing the housing, which is linked by a mechanical linkage to the table or housing such that when the activation mechanism closes the housing, the table changes from the presented configuration to the stowed configuration. The invention also provides an aircraft seat module, an aircraft and a method of stowing a table arrangement.
