The present invention relates to a device, to a system, and to a method for the preparation and fractioned dispensing of samples of a fluid. The device of the invention comprises a body having formed therein guide means suitable for receiving a sample-taker member and for guiding it in translation through the device, and at least one preparation chamber enabling an aliquot of a fluid sample dispensed into the chamber by a said sample-taker member to be prepared in a stream of a suitable reagent. The guide means pass through the preparation chamber and communicate therewith to enable an aliquot of fluid to be dispensed into the chamber in a determined position of the sample-taker member in the guide means. The preparation chamber has an introduction orifice for introducing at least one reagent into the chamber for mixing the reagent with an aliquot, and at least one dispensing orifice for dispensing the mixture formed by said aliquot and said reagent to recovery and/or analysis means.

The invention relates to a modular device for implementation in a biological fluid analysis system. It comprises functional modules, each comprising a support for supporting hydraulic components, the support including at least two plates having etched therein circuits that enable channels to be defined when the two plates are assembled side by side. According to the invention, said functional modules comprise at least a preparation first functional module for preparing a fluid for analysis and supporting at least one dilution vessel, and an injection second functional module for injecting the fluid prepared in said dilution vessel towards an analysis unit, said first and second modules being connected to one another.

An optical device for examining a fluid including a measuring space including a compulsory passage for the fluid to be examined, at least one source delivering a selected light to an optical illuminator serving to collect at least part of the light having traversed the compulsory passage and to deliver the selected light to analyze the collected light so as to deliver signals representing data borne by the collected light. The optical illuminator includes a first light guide including one end, opposite the source, and configured to deliver the light, derived from the source, in accordance with a selected geometry to illuminate the compulsory passage in a substantially uniform manner and under a substantially constant intensity.
