A baffle of an exhaust gas pressure sensor assembly is disposed at an exhaust manifold of an internal combustion engine and includes an exhaust gas pressure sensor configured to sense a pressure of exhaust gas at the exhaust manifold. The baffle includes a conduit, a plate disposed within the conduit separating the exhaust gas volume into a first portion and a second portion, and a plurality of apertures disposed through the plate and configured to provide fluid communication of the exhaust gas between the first portion of the exhaust gas volume and the second portion of the exhaust gas volume such that each of the plurality of apertures is centered radially outside of an inner passageway to a diaphragm of the exhaust gas pressure sensor.

Baffle for an exhaust gas pressure sensor assembly

A sealing system comprising a cylinder head, a coupler, a fuel injection line, and a cap. The coupler is positioned in the cylinder head, and the fuel injection line extends into the coupler so as to at least partially define a fuel leak passageway therebetween. The fuel injection line extends through the cap, and the cap yieldably urges itself into a seated position in which the cap establishes a first sealed connection with the fuel injection line and establishes a second sealed connection with the coupler, so as to block ingress of moisture into the fuel leak passageway. Additionally, the cap allows movement of itself away from the seated position to an unseated position in response to a pressurized leaked fuel, in the fuel leak passageway, so as to allow the pressurized leaked fuel to flow out of the fuel leak passageway.

Sealing system for an engine

A thermal displacement compensation assembly for an engine system including a cylinder head and an exhaust manifold coupled to the cylinder head. The thermal displacement assembly includes a bracket configured to be operatively coupled to cylinder head and to the exhaust manifold and a multi-layer coupler. The multi-layer coupler is configured to be disposed between the bracket and the cylinder head, wherein a first component of the coupler is configured to slide with respect to a second component of the coupler such that relative movement between the bracket and one of the cylinder head and exhaust manifold is enabled by relative movement of the first component with the second component of the multi-layer coupler.

Thermal displacement compensation assembly for a work vehicle prime mover

A sealing system comprising a cylinder head, a coupler, a fuel injector line, a seal retainer, and a seal. The coupler is positioned in the cylinder head, and the fuel injector line extends into the coupler so as to at least partially define a fuel leak passageway therebetween. The seal retainer yieldably urges the seal towards a seated position in which the seal established a sealed connection between the fuel injector line and the coupler, so as to block ingress of moisture into the fuel leak passageway. Further, the seal retainer allows movement of the seal away from the seated position to an unseated position in which the sealed connection between the fuel injector line and the coupler is broken in response to pressurized leaked fuel, in the fuel leak passageway, so as to allow the pressurized leaked fuel to flow out of the fuel leak passageway.

A cooling nozzle assembly includes a mounting plate, a pin body and a nozzle tube. The mounting plate has a pin aperture and a fastener aperture. The pin body has a head portion and a shaft portion. The shaft portion of the pin body has a blind bore that extends from an open first end of the shaft portion to the head portion. The shaft portion of the pin body is fitted into the pin aperture of the plate and affixed to the plate. A hole is cross-drilled in the assembly to intersect the blind bore of the shaft portion of the pin body. The nozzle has an interior passage. The nozzle tube is mounted to the plate and pin body assembly by fitting it into the hole. The interior passage is in fluid communication with the blind bore of the pin body. An engine cylinder block includes a cylinder with a piston assembly disposed therein. A mounting surface is provided in the cylinder block for mounting the cooling nozzle assembly proximal to the cylinder. The mounting surface is provided with a pin aperture that intersects with the oil gallery passage of the cylinder block. A fastener aperture is also provided in the mounting surface and is tapped to receive a conventional threaded fastener. The nozzle assembly is mounted to the cylinder block such that the shaft portion of the pin body is disposed in the pin aperture. Thus the blind bore of the shaft portion and the interior passage of the tube are in fluid communication with the oil gallery passage of the cylinder block. The fastener serves both to secure the nozzle assembly to the cylinder block and, in conjunction with the pin body, maintain the radial position of the nozzle assembly in the cylinder block. Accordingly, the nozzle tube is disposed such that the flow of oil is directed to the appropriate areas of the piston.
