A faucet includes a housing defining hot and cold inlets and an outlet and hot and cold fluid conduits in communication with the hot and cold inlets. A mixer within the housing receives fluids from the fluid conduits and outputs one of the fluids or a mixture thereof. The mixer includes a valve and an actuator configured to move the valve to different positions establishing various ratios of fluids output by the mixer. A temperature actuated flow reducing device within the housing downstream of the mixer restricts a flow of fluid to the outlet when a temperature of the fluid exceeds a predetermined temperature. A first pressure compensating flow regulator upstream of the mixer controls a flow of fluid from the hot fluid conduit to the mixer while a second pressure compensating flow regulator downstream of the mixer controls a flow of fluid through the outlet.

Flushometer cover

A cover assembly for an automatic flushometer includes a locking ring configured for coupling to a flush valve body and configured to be disposed about a rotational axis. The locking ring defines a recess in a radially outer perimeter. A cover defines an opening at one end and a cavity configured to receive a solenoid of the flushometer. The cover has a projection extending radially inwardly from a radially inner surface of the cover. The projection defines a circumferential groove. The projection is configured to allow movement of the cover relative to the locking ring along the rotational axis when aligned with the recess in the locking ring. The groove is configured to receive a portion of the locking ring circumferentially adjacent to the recess upon rotation of the cover about the rotational axis thereby preventing movement of the cover relative to the locking ring along the rotational axis.

In a radiator module for a motor vehicle, a detachable connection is required between a housing of an electric motor and a retaining structure, which connection allows economic and secure assembly and cannot be loosened or detached by alternating reaction forces at the electric motor. To achieve this, an arrangement is proposed of a retaining structure and detachably connected therewith a housing for an electric motor, in which the housing has a number of radiating protruding tabs on the base side which can be inserted by successive tilt and shift movements in corresponding recesses of the retaining structure. Furthermore various methods for assembly are proposed.

A fan module assembly includes at least one a rotatable fan () having blades () with tips of blades being joined by an annular fan band (). An electrically conductive squirrel cage () is associated with the fan band to rotate therewith. Flux receiving structure () is associated with the fan band. A shroud () has a shaft () with the fan being associated with the shaft so as to rotate about the shaft and with respect to the shroud. Control structure () is mounted stationary with respect to the shroud generally adjacent to a portion of the fan band. The control structure is constructed and arranged to generate a changing magnetic field, generally at the radius of the fan band, which interacts with the flux receiving structure and the squirrel cage to cause the fan to be driven by tangential force.

An engine cooling fan shroud structure () for a vehicle includes a skirt (') defining a frame. The frame has a certain wall thickness and defines an opening () therein constructed and arranged to permit air to pass through the skirt. The skirt includes motor mount structure () supported in the opening and constructed and arranged for mounting a fan motor thereto. The frame defines passageways () there-through to reduce an amount of material of the skirt. A film material () has a wall thickness substantially less than the certain wall thickness and covers the passageways such that air may flow mainly through the opening.

The rotor is associated with the stator so as to rotate with respect thereto. One end () of the shaft is coupled with the fan and another end () of the shaft is received by the bearing structure. A brush and connector unit () is associated with the cover of the shroud and includes brushes () associated with the commutator, and an electrical connector (). The cover covers the opened end of the rotor and stator assembly and covers at least a portion of a brush and connector unit.

An electromotor has an external stator, and a ventilator vessel which is used to produce a cooling air flow for self-ventilation of the electromotor. In order to improve the cooling of an electromotors, it is proposed to use a ventilator vessel to help direct an air flow along the outer surface of the motor housing, through the inside of the housing of the electromotor and through an air gap formed between the motor housing wall and ventilator vessel.

A fan shroud structureis constructed and arranged to carry a fan. The fan shroud structure includes a bodyhaving a periphery, a main surface, and an annular rimdefining a generally central opening. The openingis sized to accommodate blades of a fan. Fan mounting structureis coupled with the body and is disposed generally adjacent to the central opening. The fan mounting structure is constructed and arranged to support a motor of a fan. The body includes a plurality of surfaces featuresconstructed and arranged to affect resonance of the shroud structure with each feature having a surfacethat is discontinuous with respect to the main surfaceof the body. Each featurealso extends from the annular rim to the periphery of the body.

Fan shroud structure for reducing resonance, improving stiffness and manufacturability

The invention relates to a cooling fan for use in a motor vehicle. To achieve improved cooling of an electric motor it is proposed that the motor housing enclosing the electric motor be used as a heat sink for emitting waste heat into a cooling air flow. The cooling air flow for cooling the electric motor is routed here through the interior of the motor housing and subsequently along the outside of the motor housing over cooling elements in the areas of the air inlet openings and in the area or an air exit gap between fan wheel hub and front part of the motor housing. The cooling air flow is created in this case by the fan wheel hub of the fan wheel driven by the electric motor.
