The present disclosure relates to a sealing element for hollow sections, including a seal carrier that extends along a longitudinal axis and has two arms each of which has an outer face and an inner face and which are connected together, as one piece, at longitudinal edges that face each other such that they form a corner angle between them seals mounted on or near a free longitudinal edge of each arm and running parallel to the free longitudinal edge, on the outer face of the associated arm, and a securing device, on at least one inner face of an arm, for detachably securing the sealing element onto a corner of a hollow section. A cover cap serves to complete the sealing elements, the cap being provided, on its outer face, with one or more sealing sections designed to connect to ends of the seals of the sealing element.

Sealing element and a sealing system for hollow sections

A corner connector for hollow profiles is provided, including a base element having a first and a second wall section connected at a right angle and in one piece to each other on one respective lateral edge that forms a connecting edge, a first guide and connection groove extends from a lateral edge that is adjacent and in parallel to the connecting edge, and at least one essentially plate-shaped, rectangular additional element, wherein two guide and connection projections protrude from its inner side complementary to the first guide and connection grooves which can be inserted into the first guide and connection grooves in a direction parallel to the connecting edge and, in the fully inserted position, secure the additional element flush on the base element in order to form a third wall section arranged at a right angle to the first and the second wall section.

Corner connector for hollow profiles

The present disclosure relates to a frame piece for a rack, comprising a hollow profile which extends along its longitudinal axis and is brought into its cylindrical profile shape by shaping a substantially flat starting material. The hollow profile on two opposite lateral edges, has a connecting zone for closing the hollow profile at least one tab-type projection being formed on at least one of the lateral edges, said projection extending away from the lateral edge of the hollow profile and being shaped such that it can be brought into engagement with at least one corresponding receptacle on the respective other lateral edge in a clamping or positive manner.

The present disclosure relates to a method for producing rectangular or square wall elements from flat sheet metal, including determining a length and width of a wall element, providing a flat sheet metal piece incising two longitudinal edge portions to form two incisions to form two tabs for each longitudinal edge portion separated by a respective incision from the remaining longitudinal edge portion, right-angled folding of a respective strip, formed by the incisions, right-angled folding of the tabs parallel to the longitudinal edge at the level of the base of the associated incision, right-angled folding of the longitudinal edge portions along the longitudinal edge, right-angled folding of the transverse edge portions parallel to the transverse edge to form a strip having a width corresponding to the transverse dimension of the tabs, and right-angled folding of the transverse edge portions along the transverse edge.

Method for producing rectangular or square wall elements from flat sheet metal, and wall elements produced therewith

A rack is presented including a plurality of at least first and second frame pieces adapted to be interconnected, wherein each frame extends along a longitudinal axis. The rack includes a corner connector arranged to interconnect at least the first frame piece and the second frame piece with the longitudinal axes of the first and second interconnected frame pieces arranged obliquely to one another. The rack includes at least first and second bracing units in which, for the purpose of connecting a plurality of frame pieces, the first bracing unit is capable of bracing the first frame piece against the corner connector arranged between the first and second frame pieces to be connected, and the second bracing unit is capable of bracing the second frame piece against the corner connector obliquely to the first frame piece. Each bracing unit includes at least one tensioning element and two force transmission members.

Rack

A device for the insertion and extraction of a plug-in module into a module frame which has at least one front module bar, contains a swivel-mounted lever which is located in the front area of the plug-in module and whose short lever arm has at least one lever cam and a push-off nose and a pressure piece which is fastened to the module bar. The pressure piece absorbs the forces transferred from the lever, whereby the pressure piece has at least one recess, in which the lever cam of the lever reaches into during the insertion of the plug-in module. Furthermore the pressure piece has at least one push-off shoulder against which the push-off nose of the lever pushes off during the extraction of the plug-in module.

Device for the insertion and extraction of a plug-in module

The invention relates to a subrack ( ) for industrial electronics. The front and/or rear edge of a cover sheet ( ) and that of a base sheet ( ) are formed by edge-folding for fixing a specially configured angular strip ( ). This enables known module rails to be integrated with the cover or the base and means that said module rails can be produced from sheet steel, which significantly reduces the production costs.

Subrack

On a module carrier for digital communications technology modules, a guidance and support element for incoming and outgoing optical wave guides is arranged that is formed of two pieces, an LWL guidance and an LWL support element. An adjustable connector accomplishes the connection of both elements, whereby their position with each other is permitted to change.

Guide and support element

A card-holding device for locking a printed circuit card in a guide rail of a subassembly/subrack includes a retaining element that is inserted in the guide rail at the front edge of a printing circuit card when the circuit card is inserted to retain the card. The retaining element swivels outward and away against the elastic restoring force of an activating element. The activating element is releasable from the retaining element to allow withdrawal of the printed circuit card.

Card-holding/locking device for the securing/latching of a printed circuit card/board

A shielded module support structure for printed circuit boards 2 can be inserted on guide rail 7 and having electrical or electronic components has two parallel side walls 3 and at least four module rails 4 for bearing the guide rails 7. The module rails are anodized aluminum or an anodized aluminum alloy and have, at the front side, at least one seating surface 12 for one or more front plates 9, to improve electrical conductivity, sections of the module rails 4 are freed from the anodized layer. This can be done by removal of protrusions 18 by processes such as mechanical milling. For improved contacting, resilient contact bands 19 may be snapped onto the rails 4 into engagement with the bared seating surfaces 12. The resilient contact bands include sharp-edged breakouts 22 for conductive engagement with plates 9 for effecting a shielded enclosure about the circuit boards 2.

Module support structure

A contact element having at least one leaf spring 2,3 has a U-shaped contact means 6, the two U-legs 8,9 of which taper towards their ends and can be elastically deformed with respect to each other. This contact element 1 is introduced into a guide groove 22 of a guide rail 13 of a module support structure or the like. The leaf springs 2,3 thereby contact a printed circuit board which can be inserted into the module support structure and the contact means 6, together with guide rail 13, can be clamped in a positioning hole 15 of a module rail 16 of the module support structure to thereby establish electrical contact with the module rail 16. In this manner, the interfering effect of an anodized layer on the module rail 16 is circumvented.

A module support structure is proposed for printed circuit boards which can be inserted on guide rails. The four parallel module rails of the module support structure to which the guide rails are mounted are connected to the two parallel side walls via a special mounting technique. Specially shaped mounting bolts are used with a head bolt having a flat seating surface, a substantially cylindrical threaded shaft, as well as a transition piece disposed between the bolt head and the threaded shaft and tapering in a conical manner towards the threaded shaft. The mounting bolts are fed through cylindrical mounting holes in the module rails. During tightening, the transition piece abuts against the outer edge of the mounting holes to force the module rails against the projections disposed above or below the mounting holes. In this manner, an exact positioning of the module rails relative to the side walls is necessarily effected. The outer edge of each mounting hole can be deformed by the transition piece until the seating surface of the corresponding bolt head seats on the side wall.

A shielded module support structure 1 for printed circuit boards 2 which can be inserted on guide rails 7 and having electrical or electronic components is proposed comprising at least four module rails 4 for mounting the guide rails 7. The printed circuit boards 2 are assembled into plug-in modules 10, each having a front plate 9, wherein the front plates 9 are attached to a threaded-hole-strip using screws, the threaded-hole-strips seating in a groove 11, opening towards the front side of the module support structure 1, in the front module rail 4. In order to assure shielding of the module support structure 1 against interfering radio frequency fields, the front plates 9 are contacted with the module rails 4 using specially formed resilient contact bands 15 which can be snapped onto a seating surface 12 of the module rails 4. The resilient contact bands 15 have a plurality of break-outs 18 resiliently facing the front side of the module support structure 1 as well as a plurality of contact spikes 19 facing the seating surface 12. The resilient contact bands 15 preferentially consist essentially of flat sheet metal the upper edge 16 of which is bent for engagement into an upper engagement groove 13 and the lower edge 17 of which is bent for engagement into a lower engagement groove 14.

Shielded module support structure

An arrangement for coding a plug-in space of a plug-in module in a module rack by using a layout of at least one coding pin and at least one associated coding hole. The coding hole has at least one holding bracket through which extends a fastening screw, and the module rack has at least one front profiled rail which has a longitudinal groove into which there is inserted a perforated strip having equidistant holes. The holding bracket has a receiver for the coding pin, which receiver has an internal polygon. The coding pin is displaceable within the receiver and has a corresponding external polygon. The coding pin is provided with a longitudinally extending coding rib at its shaft. Also provided is at least one coding plug which has at least one pin for the introduction into a hold of the perforated strip. The coding plug has the coding hole for the coding pin and a through hole for the fastening screw. The coding hold is provided with an edge recess for the coding rib.

Arrangement for coding the plug-in space of a plug-in module in a module

An insertion and withdrawal device for a plug-in assembly, provided for insertion into a sub-rack. A plunger is disposed in a holding bracket of the device for the purpose of actuating a microswitch. A space, that permits a switching process of the microswitch prior to separation of the plug connector, is provided between a press-down shoulder of the pivoting lever and the front surface of a profiled rail.
