Blade insert extension assemblies may include a blade insert configured for placement in the insert seat of the adjustable blade. The blade insert may have a leading insert surface and a trailing insert surface. An insert extension assembly may be carried by the blade insert. The insert extension assembly may include at least one extension block disposed generally along at least a portion of the trailing insert surface.

Methods of grinding a sawblade include providing a sawblade plate; fabricating a plurality of sawblade teeth in the sawblade plate, each of the plurality of sawblade teeth having a pair of opposite tooth surfaces, a tooth back, a tooth gullet, a tooth face extending generally from the tooth back to the tooth gullet and a tooth edge on the tooth face; forming at least one blade relief in at least one of the opposite tooth surfaces of each of the plurality of sawblade teeth at the tooth face generally between the tooth edge and the tooth gullet; grinding the tooth edge of each of the plurality of sawblade teeth by rotation and movement of a grinding wheel along and against the tooth edge generally from the tooth back to the blade relief; and terminating the movement of the grinding wheel at the blade relief.

A low-profile mount for a flat panel electronic display that is selectively shiftable between a wall-confronting position wherein the back of the flat panel electronic display is disposed parallel and proximate to the wall surface and a tilt position wherein the top of the display is tilted away from the wall surface. The mount is configured so that points spaced apart forwardly from display receiving surfaces of the mount are shifted along a substantially horizontal axis as the mount is shifted between the wall confronting position and the tilt position. Advantageously, the display can be attached to the mount so that the points are horizontally registered with a center of gravity of the display such that the display is self-balancing at any point along the travel between the wall confronting position and the tilt position.

Low profile mount for flat panel electronic display

A mount for attaching a projection device to an overhead structure includes a device interface operably attachable to the projection device and a device orientation adjustment structure operably coupled with the device interface. The device orientation adjustment structure has structure defining up to three independent axes for adjustment of projector pitch, roll, and yaw. A single selectively adjustable friction element may be provided to enable projector position to be fixed about for any one or all of the independent axes. A gear adjustment mechanism may be provided to enable fine adjustment of projector position. Moreover, any one or all of the independent axes may pass through the projector device, preferably proximate its center of gravity so that it is self balanced on the mount to ease adjustment.

Adjustable blades for wood chippers and cutters include one or more blades of selected length, thickness and width, fitted with one or more bevelled blade seats in the rear blade edge, which blade seats, in a first embodiment, receive corresponding bevelled inserts having threaded openings fitted with an insert mount screw and a pair of adjusting screws. The mount screws serve to seat the inserts firmly in the blade seats and reverse-manipulation of the adjusting screws in the inserts provides adjustment of the fit of the adjustable blades in a cutting or chipping head, to compensate for re-sharpening of the blades. A method for adjusting the fit of wood cutter and chipper blades in a cutting or chipping head, which includes the steps of providing one or more bevelled insert seats in the rear edge of the blades opposite the cutting edge; placing a correspondingly-shaped bevelled insert in the insert seat or seats; threading an insert mount screw and a pair of adjusting screws through the insert; tightening the insert mount screw against the blade in the insert seat or seats and reverse-manipulating the adjusting screws to extend the adjusting screws from the insert to fit the blades in a chipping or cutting head. In a second embodiment heated babitt metal is poured into a mold receiving the adjustable blades and fills the bevelled blade seat or seats. The liquified babitt metal flows rearwardly of the blade in the mold to solidify and define a babitt extension of selected width that compensates for metal lost in the blade-sharpening operation.

A mount for attaching a projection device to an overhead structure includes a device interface operably attachable to the projection device with a plurality of fasteners. The device interface has a first portion and a second portion slidably disposed on the first portion. The first and second portions together define a plurality of retaining structures, each retaining structure for receiving a separate one of the plurality of fasteners. The second portion is selectively slidably shiftable relative to the first portion between a first latched position wherein each of the plurality of fasteners is received and retained in a separate one of the retaining structures and a second unlatched position wherein the plurality of fasteners is freely disengagable from the retaining structures.
