Exemplary embodiments are directed to butterfly valves, generally including a body assembly and handle assembly. The body assembly generally includes a body, a disc rotationally disposed inside an opening of the body, a cog, and a stem passing through the disc and the body. The handle assembly generally includes a handle body and a force ring. The stem can be rotationally interlocked relative to the disc and the handle assembly. The cog and the force ring can engage to rotationally secure the disc relative to the body. The handle assembly can include a lever and a grip, the force ring, the lever and the grip being pivotally secured relative to each other. The body can include a male radial protrusion and the body assembly can include a liner with a female radial groove. Methods of assembling and positioning a butterfly valve are also provided.

Butterfly valve

A check valve assembly includes a body, a valve assembly configured to engage a port of the check valve assembly, and a handle integrally formed with the body and extending from a substantially cylindrical exterior surface thereof. The handle includes a first vertical support member having a first interior surface, a second vertical support member having a second interior surface, and a horizontal support member that has a third interior surface and extends between the first and second vertical support members. The first, second, and third internal surfaces, and the exterior surface of the body member, define a handle aperture. The first and second interior surfaces of the handle aperture are configured to accommodate first and second bolts of a pipe flange fitting extending through the handle aperture.

Improved flow control assemblies for fluid systems (e.g., industrial and/or commercial systems) are provided. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for advantageous ball valve assemblies for fluid systems. In exemplary embodiments, the present disclosure provides for improved ball valve assemblies and related features, systems and methods of use. Exemplary ball valve assemblies of the present disclosure offer advantages over conventional assemblies including, without limitation, advantages in the sealing mechanisms of the ball valve assemblies, and advantages with the user interfaces of the ball valve assemblies (e.g., advantages with the lockout mechanisms). Improved, convenient and effective systems and methods for utilizing improved ball valve assemblies in fluid systems are provided.

The body assembly generally includes a body, a disc rotationally disposed inside an opening of the body, a cog, and a stem passing through the disc and the body. The locking cap generally engages the cog to prevent rotation of the disc and the stem relative to the body. Methods of assembling and positioning a butterfly valve are also provided.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to butterfly valves, generally including a body assembly. The body assembly generally includes a body, a disc rotationally disposed inside an opening of the body, a bearing disposed inside the disc and the body, and a stem passing through the disc, the bearing and the body. The bearing generally includes an internal bearing edge. The stem generally includes an external stem edge to engage the internal bearing edge to prevent stem blowout from the body. Methods of assembling and positioning a butterfly valve are also provided.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to butterfly valves, generally including a body assembly and handle assembly. The body assembly generally includes a body, a liner disposed inside an opening of the body, and a disc rotationally disposed inside the opening of the body. The body generally includes a male radial protrusion within an inner surface of the opening. The liner generally includes a female radial groove along an outer surface to interlock the liner with the male radial protrusion of the body. Methods of assembling and positioning a butterfly valve are also provided.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to valves, generally including a body assembly and handle assembly. The body assembly generally includes a body and a stem passing through the body. The handle assembly generally includes a handle body and an insert. The insert provides an interface between the stem and the handle body. The insert includes protrusions extending therefrom configured to distribute stress resulting from a moment load applied to the handle assembly through the handle body to reduce failure of the handle body. Methods of positioning a valve are also provided.

Provided is a wafer check valve assembly comprising a body having a mating side including first, second and third surfaces and a shaft groove, a tapered surface of the mating side extends from the third surface toward an inlet side of the body and from a first end to a second end of a port opening; a retainer having a mating side including fourth, fifth and sixth surfaces; and a disc with a shaft; wherein, when the body, retainer and disc are mated together: the shaft is housed between the body and the retainer and within the shaft groove, the first and fourth surfaces are proximal, the second and fifth surfaces are proximal, and the third and sixth surfaces proximal, so to define a pocket housing a gasketing material to form a seal between the body and retainer and to secure together the body, retainer, and disc.
