A turbine has a turbine housing with a receiving region, a turbine wheel which is disposed in the receiving region, a duct formed by the turbine housing, through which exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine can flow and which opens into the receiving region, and a tongue slide which has a tongue which is assigned to the duct and which can be displaced relative to the turbine housing about the rotational axis such that a flow cross section of the duct can be set. The exhaust gas which flows through the duct can be guided via the flow cross section into the receiving region and can be fed to the turbine wheel. The turbine is configured as a half-axial flow turbine in which a respective flow direction runs obliquely with respect to the axial direction and obliquely with respect to the radial direction of the turbine wheel.

A noise reflector for a compressor of a turbomachine, in particular an exhaust gas turbocharger, is provided. The noise reflector includes at least one form-locking element with a direction of longitudinal extension, by way of which the noise reflector can be fastened to a housing part of the compressor such that a form-locking connection is produced, and the direction of longitudinal extension of the form-locking element goes in the axial direction.

The invention concerns an exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, with at least one turbine arranged in the exhaust gas stream downstream of the internal combustion engine, wherein the turbine includes at least one flow channel with at least one radial flow cross-section, with a nozzle ring bordering the radial flow cross-section, wherein for the variable adjustment of the radial flow cross-section a variable guide vane is provided in this area.

An exhaust-gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine has a turbine in the exhaust-gas tract and a compressor, driven by the turbine, in the intake tract, the turbine having a flow channel with a radial flow-inlet cross-section and a semi-axial flow-inlet cross-section, and a flow ring being provided which limits the two flow-inlet cross-sections. The turbine is furnished with variable turbine geometry for the changeable adjustment of the flow-inlet cross-section. To improve efficiency, the position of the flow ring in the housing of the exhaust-gas turbocharger is variably adjustable.

An exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal-combustion engine has a turbine wheel which is arranged in a housing of the exhaust gas turbocharger and to which exhaust gas can be fed by way of a flow duct constructed in the housing. A variable baffle is provided for adjusting the flow cross-section of the flow duct. In order to equip the exhaust gas turbocharger with a braking function at low manufacturing and mounting expenditures, the baffle is movably accommodated in a matrix which is detachably held on the housing. The baffle and the matrix form an exchangeable braking module.
