A connection bridge device is suggested for connecting a multipoint link to a vehicle axle, particularly a multipart vehicle axle. The connection bridge device comprises at least one base body for receiving and dissipating forces and/or torques transmitted between the vehicle axle and the multipoint link, at least one axle fastening unit for fastening the base body to the vehicle axle, and at least one link coupling unit for coupling the base body to the multipoint link, which link coupling unit is intersected by a main extension plane of the base body.

Connection bridge device

An electric drive axle for a vehicle includes at least one first electric vehicle drive system () for driving at least one vehicle wheel () and at least one connection interface () for at least one power take-off (PTO). The vehicle drive system () is coupled at least to one first double shift element () such that, at least in a first engagement position of the first double shift element (), the vehicle drive system () is drivingly coupled to at least one vehicle wheel () and, in a second engagement position of the first double shift element (), the vehicle drive system () is decoupled from the at least one vehicle wheel () and is drivingly coupled to the connection interface () for the power take-off (PTO). An axle drive () for a motor vehicle axle includes at least a first drive unit (), a second drive unit (), and an output axle (). The first and second drive units () are arranged such that an overall center of gravity () of the axle drive () is situated proximate to a center of the output axle () and/or an axis of rotation of a vehicle wheel of the motor vehicle driven by the axle drive ().

Axle drive

A drive device for an electrically driven axle of a motor vehicle may include at least one electric machine, a shiftable transmission connected downstream from the at least one electric machine, and a differential coupled to the transmission for distributing drive torque to the axle. The transmission has first and second planetary gear sets connected in series. The at least one electric machine engages with an external toothing of a ring gear of the first planetary gear set. A carrier of the first planetary gear set is rotationally fixed to a sun gear of the second planetary gear set. A sun gear of the first planetary gear set is detachably couplable to a housing. A ring gear of the second planetary gear set is coupled to the housing. A carrier of the second planetary gear set is an output of the transmission. The first planetary gear set is interlockable.

Drive device for an electrically driven axle of a motor vehicle

An electric vehicle transmission () has a drive input shaft (), a drive output shaft (), a first planetary gearset (P), a second planetary gearset (P), and a third planetary gearset (P). The drive input shaft () is designed to be coupled to an electric machine (). In addition, at least functionally a first shifting element (A), a second shifting element (B), a third shifting element (C), and a fourth shifting element (D) are provided. Also disclosed is a drive system (), a vehicle drive-train (), and an electric vehicle incorporating an electric vehicle transmission of this type.

Electric vehicle transmission

A portal axle drive for a vehicle axle of an electric vehicle with driving wheels includes a drive shaft (AN) with an input axis (a) and an output shaft (AB) with an output and wheel axis (b). The input axis (a) and the output axis (b) have an axial or portal offset (c). A first gear stage (&#xdc;) is arranged between the drive shaft (AN) and the output shaft (AB). In an axial direction, a second gear stage (&#xdc;) is arranged next to the first gear stage (&#xdc;) and an engagement device (SE) is arranged next to the second gear stage (&#xdc;). The first gear stage (&#xdc;) and the second gear stage (&#xdc;) are engageable via the engagement device (SE).

Portal axle drive for a drive axle of an electric vehicle

A rear axle assembly designed to fit within a predefined rear axle envelope of a transportation vehicle. The rear axle assembly comprising first and second double wheel hubs each supporting a pair of tires, a rear axle offset with respect to a central axis of the rear axle assembly, a rear axle input for receiving a drive input, first and second portal housings which facilitate respectively connecting the rear axle with the first and the second double wheel hubs, a four-point control arm for connecting the rear axle to a chassis, first and second spring carriers each carrying smaller and larger diameter air bellows, first and second longitudinal arms which interconnected the rear axle to the chassis, and first and second shock absorbers each located generally at or adjacent to the central axis and radially between the first double wheel hub and the first spring carrier.

Rear axle assembly designed to fit within rear axle envelope

A vehicle axle includes, an axle gear unit housing and axle tubes adjoining the latter. The axle gear unit housing has an opening which is surrounded by a flange. Threaded blind bore holes extend beyond the thickness of the flange into the region of the wall of the axle gear unit housing which has radially outwardly on the side of the flange facing the axle gear unit housing a wall thickening which extends annularly radially circumferentially along the flange and which is configured in a continuously annular manner or so as to form spot faces partially in the areas of the threaded blind bore holes, wherein a joint flash extends in a central plane along the axle tubes and toward the flangein the region of the axle gear unit housing and at the flange along the radially outer contour of the wall thickening.

The portal housing&#x2032; has on its axle bracket side a mounting orificewhich can be closed by a closure part and through which the drive wheeland the intermediate wheelscan be inserted into the portal housing&#x2032;, wherein the intermediate wheelshave a larger diameter than the output wheel

Portal axle

An axle assembly for a drive device for the road wheels of a vehicle includes: a stationary housing having a housing interior at least partially filled with a lubricating liquid; axle housings connected to the stationary housing and configured to permit axles of the vehicle to pass towards the road wheels; a venting bore in one of the axle housings configured to allow pressurized air to escape from the stationary housing; and at least one rib sized and positioned in the housing interior of the stationary housing so as to prevent migration of the lubricating liquid out of the venting bore.

Axle assembly for drive device of a motor vehicle

A spring carrier of a motor vehicle axle, particularly of a portal axle, with a longitudinal portion () and a flange portion () which adjoins the one end of the longitudinal portion () and which has a flange (). The longitudinal portion () includes at least one fastening point for fastening to a shock absorber and/or to a suspension. At least the longitudinal portion () of the spring carrier arm comprises a lower shell () and an upper shell () of metallic material or of a plastic with or without fiber reinforcement, the shell edges () thereof extending along the neutral bending axis () of the spring carrier arm, and the lower shell () and upper shell () are connected to one another along the neutral bending axis () of the spring carrier arm by bonding engagement.

Spring bracket arm

A drive device for the road wheels of a vehicle includes a stationary housing in which a rotatably drivable differential housing having an axle differential gear unit is rotatably mounted by differential bearings, at least one driveshaft being rotatably drivable by the differential housing. At least one driving gear wheel is arranged on the at least one driveshaft so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to the latter. The at least one driving gear wheel meshingly engage by oppositely directed helical teeth with at least one driven gear wheel for driving road wheels of the vehicle and generating axial forces directed toward the center of the axle differential gear unit. At least one thrust bearing arrangement is supported axially with respect to the at least one driveshaft at a radial supporting surface.

Drive device for the road wheels of a vehicle

A drive device for the road wheels of a vehicle includes a stationary housing in which a rotatably drivable differential housing having an axle differential gear unit is rotatably mounted by differential bearings, at least one driveshaft being rotatably drivable by the differential housing. At least one driving gear wheel is arranged on the at least one driveshaft so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to the latter. The at least one driving gear wheel meshingly engage by oppositely directed helical teeth with at least one driven gear wheel for driving road wheels of the vehicle and generating axial forces directed toward the center of the axle differential gear unit. At least one thrust bearing arrangement for supporting these axial forces is in turn supported at a structural component part of the drive device.

A drive device for the road wheels of a vehicle, with a stationary housing partially filled with a lubricating liquid, and a rotatably drivable driveshaft inserted into the housing interior and with a differential unit having a crown wheel with a differential housing. The crown wheel is rotatably drivable by the driving gear wheel, by means of which crown wheel a plurality of differential gear wheels of the differential unit are rotatably drivable, driven gear wheels being rotatably drivable in turn by these differential gear wheels. The driven gear wheels being drivingly connected in each instance to driven shafts for driving the road wheels of the vehicle. The differential unit is enclosed in the housing interior by a shielding housing, wherein the stationary housing interior is connected to the shielding housing interior via one or more apertures.
