An all welded signal light assembly transportable in secure, stacked condition with a plurality of all welded signal light assemblies of like construction.

Signal light assembly

Signal light apparatus includes a tiltable structure including a mast, a counter-weight and a signal light which is rotatably mounted on a base member. A tilt control assembly including adjustable shoes frictionally engaging a rotor on the mast releasably maintains the tiltable structure at alternative tilt orientations though frictional engagement between structural components of the tilt control assembly.

A railroad wayside signal cantilever () including an arm () with a signal mounting apparatus () that provides a degree of horizontal movement of the signal () relative to the cantilever mast (). The available range of locations for securing the signal on the arm is sufficiently broad to allow a single cantilever design to be used for a wide range of site-specific locations. An extendable catwalk railing () is provided to accommodate movement of the signal without creating an unsafe gap between the railing and the signal.
