A work machine () comprises an operator interface (), an auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) adapted to operate a hydraulic actuator () of an auxiliary tool () when the auxiliary tool () is attached to the work machine (), and a controller unit () that communicates with the operator interface () and the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or). The controller unit () is adapted to receive from the operator interface () an electrical setpoint signal representative of a flow setpoint selected by an operator via the operator interface (), and electrically operate the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) so as to output flow from the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) to the auxiliary tool () at a substantially constant magnitude represented by the flow setpoint. An associated method is disclosed.

A work machine () comprises an auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit () adapted to operate a hydraulic actuator () of an auxiliary tool () when the auxiliary tool () is attached to the work machine. The auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit () is electrically controlled by a controller unit () in a proportional mode or a continuous mode.

Electro-hydraulic auxiliary mode control

A work vehicle includes a multiple mode operational system having a work system such as a linkage and associated hydraulic cylinders of a backhoe, a braking system and a multiple mode control system. The multiple mode control system includes a central controller, a mode toggle switch and a work system control device such as an electromechanical joystick. The central controller is capable of entering at least a first operational mode and a second operational mode. In the first operational mode, the central controller manipulates the work system based on signals received from the work system control device. In the second operational mode, the central controller controls the braking system based on signals received from the work system control device.

Multiple mode operational system for work vehicle braking

Three functions on a work vehicle are controlled by two interconnected levers. The first lever controls the first and second functions and the second lever controls the first and third functions. The control levers are interconnected by a yoke having three downwardly projecting tangs. Two of the tangs are provided with connections points for the first and second control function linkages. The third tang provides a mounting point for a ball joint. A stub shaft is coupled to the yoke and the main ball joint and projects from the yoke into a stationary guide slot. The second lever is mounted to the stub shaft and the yoke. The second lever is also provided with a link having a connection point for the third control function linkage.
