The disclosure generally pertains to a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft comprising a fuselage and at least one fixed wing. The aircraft may include at least two powered rotors located generally along a longitudinal axis of the fuselage. The rotor units may be coupled to the fuselage via a rotating chassis, which allows the rotors to provide directed thrust by movement of the rotor units about at least one axis. The VTOL aircraft may include instructions to perform a degraded rotor landing protocol. The degraded rotor landing protocol may include adjusting a power to an operable rotor unit to control a rate of descent and/or slow a rate of acceleration toward a landing surface. The VTOL aircraft may be configured to impact the landing surface from a substantially vertical configuration, and adjust a thrust vector to cause the aircraft to come to rest in a generally upright configuration.

Vertical takeoff and landing aircraft

The disclosure generally pertains to a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft comprising a fuselage and at least one fixed wing. The aircraft may include at least two powered rotors located generally along a longitudinal axis of the fuselage. The rotor units may be coupled to the fuselage via a rotating chassis, which allows the rotors to provide directed thrust by movement of the rotor units about at least one axis. By moving the rotor units, the aircraft can transition from a hover mode to a transition mode and then to a forward flight mode and back.

A restraint belt presenter assembly includes a restraint belt engaging member that is selectively driven by a track drive mechanism to catch and pull a restraint belt from its unused position to a presentation position for grasping by a vehicle occupant. The restraint belt engaging member includes a housing having an L-shaped slot that receives a finger assembly wherein the finger assembly has a rotary offset with locking movement for maintaining the finger assembly in an actuating position.

In a room or building having adjoining side walls forming a corner and a floor forming with the side walls an open pocket adjacent the floor, a storage system having a cross member for retaining elongated implements such as garden tools and skis bearing on the floor and in a generally vertical position between the side walls and leaning outwardly from the corner toward the cross member. The length of the cross member is adjustable, to a selected length extending between the side walls. The cross member includes mounting pieces disposed at distal ends of the cross member to secure the cross member to the walls. The cross member extends between the two side walls above the floor and the mounting pieces attach to the side walls regardless of the included angle between the cross member and each side wall for appropriate mounting of the cross member whereby the triangular area bounded by the cross member and the side walls may be chosen to accommodate particular implements.
