Improvements in a transportable stepper are disclosed. The mini stepper has steps that remain horizontal through the entire stroke. The mini stepper uses parallel connected arms to maintain flat steps so a user steps in a natural position and maintain a balanced posture. The stepper has a step height adjustment that links the two pedals. The travel or highest position for the foot pads is adjustable to change the resistance or work-out intensity for the user by limiting the vertical travel for the foot pads and links the foot pads to ensure when one footpad is being pushed downward, the opposing footpad is being elevated. The resistance pistons are surrounded by an insulation tube that minimizes skin contact to hot pistons. The mini stepper has a display that links to an application for tracking/displaying exercise related information.

Improvements in a flywheel friction loading measurement system is disclosed. The measurement system includes combining a rotational system that alters friction on a flywheel combined with a variable resistor or potentiometer. The combination proves a measurable system that can determine the loading on a piece of exercise equipment. The potentiometer is calibrated to provide a repeatable and reliable measurement of the loading system that is placed on a flywheel. Detents can be included to provide finite loading positions. A calibration sequence can also be used to communicate the friction to a display and measurement system. The rotational system is with pulling a cable on a rotational axis or with wrapping a cable chain, belt or equivalent on or around a rotational axis.

Improvements in a rower with articulating footpads. The footpads have first (raised) position that uncovers wheels that allow for easy transportation of the rowing machine from one location to another. In this position the footpads are prevented from dragging on the floor when the rowing machine is being transported. The second position of the footpads rotate over the structural stability frame member. This orientation provides two flat surfaces for the user to stand upon. The footpads have a rear lip to locate the back or heels of the user. A strap is pulled from a loading mechanism and is guided out of the loading system to allow the strap to be pulled out of the loading system from a variety of angles.

Improvements to an ankle holder for an inversion table. The ankle holders are formed of an elastomeric material that is molded onto a rigid backing. The elastomeric material is sufficient durometer to easily conform to the shape of ankles. The backing is secured to a pivoting structure. The ankle holder has a pre-formed shape that approximates the shape and contour of an ankle/heel/foot. The ankle holder can expand and move around the shape of the person to evenly distribute forces caused by inversion of the table. The ankle holders can include a plurality of bladders on the backing to provide structural support to the bladders that enables the bladders to be mounted and secured onto the inversion table. The distance between the gas cushions is adjustable to allow a user to place their ankles within the inversion table and customize the clamping forces.

Improvements to a desk and exercise semi-recumbent bicycle is disclosed, the desk allows a person exercising while utilizing the desk with a computer, as a table or read a book. The desk has a 3-way adjustment relative to the seat for elevation of the desk, angle, sliding forward and backward of the desk or the proximity of the desk relative to the chair and or the pedals. The desk pivots to allow the desk to be easily tilted towards the user when they are studying and tilted away from the user when the user wants to exit the exercise bicycle. The dimension from the seat to the pedals is adjustable to accommodate these different desires. The amount of resistance can be adjusted to increase or decrease the difficulty to accommodate different levels of activity. A recording mechanism can count distance, elapsed time, calories or other information.

A play set with a mist device which includes a mist frame unit supported through a framework of the play set. The mist frame unit has a hollow body allowing water passage and comprises a flexible hose member mounted onto the framework, wherein a portion of the flexible hose member is constructed into a hose ring encircling a slide unit; a water inlet provided at a first end of the mist frame unit for connecting to a water source; and a plurality of mist producing units provided along the mist frame unit arranged for producing mist such that a preset mist surrounding area is defined within which the play set is located, therefore the mist can reach all play units of the play set, including the slide unit through the hose ring at an angle which is greater than 270&#xb0;, thereby providing a cooling effect to the mist surrounding area.

A play set with a mist device includes a mist frame unit supported through a framework of the play set. A sun shading apparatus includes a supporting frame, a shading frame and a shading fabric. The supporting frame includes first and second leg frames, and a supporting bar extended between the first and the second leg frames, while the second leg frame has third and fourth mounting slots. The shading frame includes first and second coupling joints each having a V-shaped cross section, first and second frame members, and a reinforcing frame, wherein the supporting bar is extended between the first and second coupling joints. The first and the second frame member are coupled with the first coupling joint and the second coupling joint respectively, while the reinforcing frame is extended between the first and second frame member and the supporting bar to form a support platform. The shading fabric is detachably mounted on the support platform for shading adverse weather condition.

The supporting frame has a lower end portion connected to a front end portion of the tread assembly, and an upper end portion extended from the lower end portion at a predetermined evaluation. The tread utility assembly includes a utility member frontwardly and movably extended from the control unit to form a utility platform which has a predetermined angle of inclination with respect to the control unit, wherein a user is allowed to simultaneously operate the control unit and run on the tread assembly, and accomplish a predetermined task on the utility platform in a convenient and safe manner.
