An album page for displaying articles, such as photographs, includes an intermediate, preferably opaque, sheet and a pair of outer sheets made from a transparent plastic material. Die cuts are provided in the immediate sheet at a plurality of locations, and the two outer sheets are adhered to one another at the locations defined by the die cuts. The preferred album page does not use adhesives to bond either outer sheet to the intermediate sheet, and the die cut/seal areas are arranged to permit display of rectangular objects in either horizontal or vertical positions. The invention features an arrangement, which insures that horizontally displayed objects are supported on both sides of the bottom edge thereof to enhance the overall aesthetics of the filled page.

Album page

A page protection system according to the present invention includes a band of material encircling the pages and a cover of an album, the band being snug enough to prevent removal of the pages without cutting or removing the band. In the most preferred embodiment of the present invention, the page protection system includes album ring elements secured to the back cover, rather than the spline of the album and a band made of transparent, synthetic, and heat sealable and/or heat shrinkable plastic material. The band should not be easily torn and not easily removable. It is preferably located near the rings, for example within about 1.5 inches from the ring elements if the elements are mounted to the spline of the album and adjacent the ring elements if they are mounted to an album cover.

Page protection system for photo albums and the like

A display and storage device includes a first storage portion and a second display portion pivotally and removably secured to the front of the storage portion. The storage portion includes a vertical side and a bottom. The width of the bottom is at least one-half the width of the product to be stored. The display portion is constructed to receive and display a single item to allow a consumer to examine it. Once a buying decision has been made, the display portion is opened relative to the storage portion to permit the consumer to remove one or more fresh, saleable products. Both portions may be made from wire rods. Also included is a system comprising a plurality of the display and storage devices arranged together, so that the side of the storage portion of one device acts as a containment wall for product stored in an adjacent device.

Display and storage system

A display and storage system useful for objects, such as photo albums and frames, includes a first storage portion and a second display portion pivotally secured to the first portion. The storage portion comprises a vertical side and a bottom. The display portion is constructed to receive and display a single one of the items to allow a consumer to examine the item. Once a buying decision has been made, the display portion is opened relative to the storage portion to permit the consumer to remove one or more fresh, saleable products. In the illustrated and preferred embodiment, both portions are made from wire. Also, the display and storage device is preferably tilted with respect to the vertical support surface to ensure that the display portion will self close. The system may also comprise a plurality of the display and storage devices arranged together so that the side of the storage portion of one device acts as a containment wall for product stored in an adjoining device. A wall component is provided for being attached perpendicularly to the vertical support wall and to act as a containment surface for an outermost display and storage device.
