A switching device includes: two interrupter units connected in series; at least one drive unit for moving at least one contact; and two control capacitors, each of which is connected in parallel with the interrupter units. At least one control capacitor has mechanically movable components for changing the capacitance, and at least one of these components is mechanically coupled to the drive unit.

Switching device comprising two interrupter units connected in series

A high-voltage circuit breaker system has a rapid disconnection function that results in an opening, closing, and reopening movement of a contact system. A circuit breaker having the contact system and a drive system that is mechanically connected to the contact system. The drive system includes a drive unit and, in addition to the drive unit, a drive shaft that is designed as a crankshaft. The crankshaft is connected to a mobile contact of the contact system via a push rod, and the cycle of opening, closing, and reopening movement of the contact system results from a unidirectional rotational movement of the crankshaft.

High-voltage circuit breaker system

An interrupter unit includes a vacuum switch tube and an insulating housing. The insulating housing has an inner surface. The vacuum switch tube is bordered at least partially by an electrically insulating structure material having an outer surface. The insulating housing at least partially surrounds the vacuum switch tube. In operation, inner surface of the insulating housing and outer surface of the vacuum switch tube are separated by an adhesion layer. The inner surface and the outer surface are provided at least partially with an electrically conductive layer such that, in a boundary region between vacuum switch tube and insulating housing, the following layer sequence is directed radially outwards from a switch axis: structure material of vacuum switch tube; outer surface of structure material; conductive layer on outer surface of structure material; adhesion layer; conductive layer on insulating housing; inner surface of insulating housing; volume material of insulating housing.

Interrupter unit having a vacuum tube and an insulating housing

A current interrupter system has a series arrangement of at least two interrupter units. At least one of the interrupter units is a vacuum tube, and the at least two interrupter units are mechanically connected to a drive system. The drive system has a drive assembly and a drive shaft. The drive shaft is a crank shaft equipped with at least two cranks. The at least two cranks have two crank strokes of different magnitudes.

Current interrupter system

A circuit breaker for connecting at least two line sections in an interruptible manner has at least one pair of vacuum tubes, each with a stationary switching contact and a movable switching contact. The switching contacts of the vacuum tubes are electrically connected in series. The movable switching contacts of the vacuum tubes are coupled to a common actuator and can be simultaneously switched by a movement of the actuator.

Circuit breaker

A gas-insulated switch has a first contact and a second contact. A contact unit is connected to the first contact as a movement contact unit having a drive unit and is movably mounted along a switch axis. The gas-insulated switch further has a multi-part insulation nozzle system with a primary nozzle and an auxiliary nozzle. A heating channel is formed between the primary nozzle and the auxiliary nozzle. The heating channel originates from an electric arc chamber and opens in a gas reservoir, wherein the gas reservoir is delimited by a ram. The gas reservoir is radially delimited by a wall, in respect of the switch axis, which is not a component of the movement contact unit, and the ram is part of the movement contact unit and is movably mounted such that the ram moves along the switch axis away from the second contact to enlarge the gas reservoir.

Gas-insulated switch

A vacuum interrupter includes a housing having at least one annular ceramic insulating element which forms a vacuum chamber. A contact system has two contacts which are movable relative to one another. A capacitive element has two electrodes and a dielectric material disposed between the electrodes. The capacitive element is form-lockingly mounted on the insulating element and has a capacitance between 400 pF and 4000 pF. A high-voltage switching assembly including the vacuum interrupter is also provided.
