A removable rack for holding and/or transporting kayaks with a vehicle such as a pick up, trailer, utility vehicle or flat bed truck. The rack comprises a frame which holds at least one kayaks in a pickup at a selected height and leaving storage room under rack frame. The rack also can be disassembled into a relatively small bundle of parts for easy storage and transport. The rack provides a dolly or hand truck including a frame with wheels and a handle means to maintain the desired spacing between the support surface and the kayak supported by the elevated platform. The hand truck assembly are configured to be easily moved onto an elevated platform, for example, the bed of a truck or an elevated floor such as a raised patio or deck floor. The transport device facilitates transportation of the kayak to a body of water.

Kayak transport dolly and storage rack

A method for casting a reactive material PVD target, as well as targets thus obtained and a mold for casting. The method includes providing a mold defining an opening, placing a reactive material ingot into a reservoir () proximate the mold, forming a vacuum and melting the reactive material in the reservoir, heating the mold to above a casting temperature and forming a vacuum therein, introducing molten reactive material from the reservoir into the opening and cooling the mold to form the PVD target.

Load carrier frame and system

The system and method for quick release can include a remote release enclosure having a connection side and a trigger side, at least one cable assembly traversing through the release enclosure from the connection side to the trigger side, a trigger assembly coupled the at least one cable assembly, and a plurality of attachment assemblies coupled the other end of the at least one cable assembly. The trigger assembly can be operatively coupled to each of the plurality of attachment assemblies via the cable assemblies. The attachment assemblies can have a male portion having an inner guide post between at least two outer guide posts and a female portion. The cable assemblies can couple the male portions of the attachment assemblies to the trigger assembly such that movement of the trigger assembly can release or disengage the male portion of the attachment assembly from the female portion.

System and method for quick release

Arrangement with one or more buckles, wherein each buckle has at least two buckle parts that are detachably connectable with each other, at least one release mechanism, actuatable by means of pressure for detaching the buckle parts from each other, and at least one pressure accumulator connected via at least one pressure line with the buckle(s) for actuating the release mechanism of the buckle, and with at least one release valve for opening a pressure connection guided via the pressure line between the pressure accumulator and the buckle or the buckles, and with at least one trigger for actuating the release valve, wherein the arrangement has a pump for the build-up of pressure in the pressure accumulator.

Release mechanism

Release assembly for a personal equipment carrier. Release assembly includes securing component, a plurality of first cable assemblies, a plurality of attachment assembly first portions, trigger termination, and trigger activator. Securing component is attachable to a personal equipment carrier. The first cable assemblies, include an outer member and an inner member. A first end of each first cable assembly outer member is anchored to the securing component. Each attachment assembly first portion includes a detachment portion. The detachment portion is attached to a second end of each first cable assembly inner member. The detachment portion is operable, upon tensioning of the attached first cable assembly inner member, for detaching the attachment assembly first portion from an attached attachment assembly second portion. The trigger termination is connected to the first end of each first cable assembly inner member at the securing component. The trigger activator is connected to the trigger termination.

System for quick release

The process that is the subject of this invention is a method of making a rotary sputtering target having the steps of providing a cylinder of sputtering target material having an adhesion-wetting layer on its inside surface; providing a stainless steel sputtering target backing tube having an outside diameter smaller than the sputtering target material inside diameter, the backing tube having an adhesion-wetting layer on its outside surface; welding an upper and lower stainless steel retaining ring to the backing tube adjacent to the sputtering target material so that the target material is in compression and the backing tube in tension; and introducing molten bonding material into the annulus between the backing tube and the sputtering target material. The apparatus that is the subject of the present invention is a rotary sputtering target apparatus having a cylinder of sputtering target material; a backing tube having a smaller outside diameter than the inside diameter of the sputtering target material; and bonding material disposed between the target material and backing tube, the bonding material bonding them together.

Touch sensitive impact controlled electronic signal transfer device

A ballistic blanket is provided and includes a pliable outer shell or housing that encompasses an inner ballistic core which is housed or contained within an inner shell or housing. Secured to exterior portions of the ballistic blanket are a series of handles and one or more attaching straps or buckles that facilitate the securement of devices such as a carrier panel. In one design, the interior ballistic core comprises a high performance fiber such as an aramid fiber, high molecular weight polyethylene, a combination of high performance fiber types, or a non-woven thermoplastic composite.

Ballistic blanket

A powered toilet seat used in association with a toilet bowl or throw-away waste receptacle and which may be used to assist a person in being raised and lowered relative to the toilet bowl. The present invention provides separate sets of mechanical linkages in order to provide the optimum motion for raising and lowering of the seat and for raising and lowering of the armrest. While the seat is constrained to both lift and move forward slightly while it is being rotated forwardly, the armrests follow a circular arc in which the armrests initially move predominately in the upward direction and complete the motion by moving predominately in a forward direction. In addition, the armrests are maintained in a horizontal orientation at all time.
