A filling device is disclosed for allowing substances to fill a beverage container. The filling device may direct a flow of liquid into a container. The filling device may have a bowl with a round and a flat portion, a neck, a wall dividing the bowl into sections, and a plurality of fingers at the terminal end of the neck. One section of the filling device may allow the substance to fill the beverage container while the other section allows air to escape.

Filling device for use with a container

The present invention provides a bag-in-box packaging system having a paperboard box having sidewalls defining an interior chamber, and a flexible polymeric container positioned within the sidewalls of the box. The container having sidewalls sealed together along a peripheral edge to define a fluid chamber therebetween, the container having a dispensing fitment attached to a sidewall, the container further having a supplemental seam to direct fluid in an area proximate the fitment.

Flexible container for bag-in-box packaging system

A hangable bag used for containing and dispensing product including a first panel and a second panel heat sealed together at adjacent seal areas to form an interior compartment therebetween. A spout is sealed to the first panel to provide access to the interior compartment for filling and dispensing product from the bag. A first of the seal areas forms a handle region with an aperture therethrough, and has a substantially greater width than the other seal areas to provide increased strength and rigidity to the handle region of the hangable bag.

Hangable container

An end opening bulk material container having a polygonal-shaped sleeve defined by a double sidewall and a plurality of sidewalls. The double sidewall is defined by a first sidewall overlapping a last sidewall. The sleeve has a depth dimension greater than its width dimension. A first end of the sleeve is closed by a first end wall and a second end of the sleeve is closed by a second end wall.

A system and process for dispensing liquid beverage having a containing vessel, a pouch within a cavity of the containing vessel, a spout connected to the pouch, and a dispensing valve connected to the pouch for controlling the flow of liquid from an interior pocket of the pouch. The pouch of the system has a first panel and a second panel heat sealed together at their respective bottom and opposing side panels to form an interior pocket between the first and second panels. The interior pocket is bounded at the sides and bottom thereof, but has an open top to provide an ingress thereinto for filling the pouch. The system provides a clean and sanitary means for containing and dispensing liquid products.

Beverage dispensing system

An end opening bulk material container having a plurality of sidewalls defining a polygonal-shaped sleeve, the sleeve has a depth dimension greater than its width dimension, a first end of the sleeve is closed by a first end wall and two sets of parallel supports, one of each is associated with separate sidewalls.

Corrugated paper blanks for cooperatively forming a six wall box, and a box formed from the paper blanks are disclosed. The box formed from a body blank 10 and two side blanks 100 has two side walls, two end walls 32 and 36, a bottom wall 34, a top wall cooperatively formed by two top panels 30 and 38, a door 52 in one of the end walls 36, and a plurality of horizontally spaced perforations 74 between a distal end of the door 52 and the bottom wall 34 to minimize tears along the paperboard corrugations upon compression of the box. The box also has positioning slots 76 on one or both of its end walls 32 and 36 at opposite sides of the box to aid in moving the box while on a shelf or otherwise.

An end opening bulk material container having a plurality of sidewalls defining a polygonal sleeve, the sleeve has a depth dimension greater than its width dimension, a first end of the sleeve is closed by a first end wall and two C-shaped supports, one of each is associated with separate side walls.

The present invention comprises a packaging system 100 for a product 58 having an envelope 50 with a pouch 52 adapted to securely retain the product 58, the envelope 50 having a tail portion 54 extending away from the pouch 52, and a blank 10 having a leading 16 and a trailing portion 20, the blank 10 may be folded about the envelope 50 such that the tail portion 54 is trapped between the leading portion 16 and the trailing portion 20 of the blank 10.

Box and a packaging system for containing elongate fragile objects

Corrugated paper blanks for cooperatively forming a six wall box, and a box formed from the paper blanks are disclosed. The corrugated paper blanks comprise an elongate body blank 10 having first and second opposed lateral sides 12 and 14 and a side blank 100 having first and second opposed lateral sides 102 and 104, the body blank 10 is divided into a first 30, a second 32, a third 34, a fourth 36, and a fifth panel 38, the fourth panel 36 having perforations 51 that define a door 52 that is attached to the body blank 10 with a hinge 60, the body blank 10 has body flanges 40 and 42 extending from the first and second lateral sides 12 and 14 from the second and fourth panel 32 or 36 or the second third and fourth panel 32, 34, 36; the side blanks also have side flanges 120 extending from the first and second lateral sides 102 and 104 of the side blanks 100, the body blank 100 is folded along the transverse fold lines 16 and one side blank 100 attaches at the first lateral side 12 of the body blank 10 using the body flanges 40 and the side flanges 120 and a second side blank 100 is attached to the body blank 10 at the second lateral side 14 of the body blank 10 using the side flanges 120 and the body flanges 42 to form a reinforced corrugated flatboard box 200.

A carton for a single layer of tomatoes or the like is formed of single thickness corrugated fiberboard which is doubled over at fold lines along opposing walls is provided. The fold lines lie in differing planes so that each of two opposing walls have relatively long recesses at the upper portions thereof with a doubled thickness of fiberboard below such recesses. The other opposing walls include a double thickness along substantially the entire length of the wall. Corner members extend across the top corners of the carton to strengthen the carton as well as to facilitate stacking of cartons. Optional upstanding tabs facilitate stacking. The recesses promote airflow over tomatoes or the like held in the carton.
