A flexible reclosable container with a header strip, fastener elements, and a slider. The header strip preferably extends from the mouth of the bag, and includes a line of weakness for easy tear off of the bag. The slider and profiles are arranged such that the mouth of the bag is substantially open.

A reclosable fastener tape includes a first fastener strip and a second fastener strip that is adapted to mate with the first fastener strip in a reclosable fashion. A reclosable sack having a mouth from which contents may be discharged, including a primary non-reclosable stitched fastener across and closing the mouth. The stitched fastener includes a removable chain stitch and tear strip for facilitating manual opening of the primary fastener. The reclosable sack also includes a secondary reclosable fastener having a pair of interlocking profile strips that are attached at lower inner wall portions to the upper edge of the sack walls outboard of the stitched fastener. The secondary profile fastener is heat sealed at its ends and allows the sack to be reclosed once the primary non-reclosable fastener has been removed.

A bag structure includes a tubular bag body closed at one end and at its edges but open at the bag top. A top closure is affixed to the bag body covering the bag top. The bag body includes opposite wall panels which include a opposite outer layers and opposite inner layers, in which the outer layers are formed from a material that is more readily fusible than the material of the inner layers. The top closure includes opposite attachment flanges composed of a material that is more readily fusible to the outer layer than the inner layer. In one specific embodiment, a heated pressure bar is applied to heat seal the attachment flanges of the top closure to the outer layers of the bag body, while the inner layers of the wall panels remain intact and are not fused together. The inner layer material has a fusion temperature higher than the temperature at which the outer layers and top closure attachment flanges fuse.

A tamper evident bag having a non-reusable frangible fastener profile assembly comprising two sets of lockable fastener profile elements specially constructed to manually lock together without the use of tools, and which once locked cannot be forcibly pulled apart. The bag includes a frangible connector bridge which will break away when the bag is opened indicating that the bag has been tampered with. The construction of the fastener elements also assures proper alignment of the lockable fastener profile elements across the length of the upper portion of the bag wall panels, making interlocking closure easy when pressure is applied on the outer walls of the bag behind the fastener profile elements.

A security bag includes a pair of overlapping wall panels joined at their bottom and side edges to define an opening at the top of the wall panels for carrying money and other items. One of the wall panels includes a receipt strip extending from the top of the panel and connected to the wall panel along a perforation line. The receipt strip and one of the wall panels each carry an identical identification number. The receipt strip is removable from the security bag by severing along the perforation line. A closure flap is provided for closing the opening of the bag when the receipt strip is removed. The closure flap includes a strip of tape having an adhesive on one surface that is adhered at a lower attachment portion of the tape to one wall panel. A release liner covers the adhesive on an upper sealing portion of the tape and is readily removable to expose the adhesive for adhering the closure flap to the other wall panel to close the bag opening. The lower edge of the release liner is disposed below the perforation line so that the strip of tape does not adhere to the receipt strip, thereby preventing its removal from the security bag. The strip of tape includes a security pattern that is imperceptible when the bag is properly closed, but becomes visible on the wall panel and the closure flap when the flap is pulled from the wall panel. The security panel remains visible, even when the flap has been resealed over the opening to give a positive visible indication of tampering with the security bag.
