An electrically or thermally conductive polymer composition, includes: a polyester polymer having a backbone including at least 12 consecutive carbon atoms between ester linkages; and conductive particles dispersed in the polyester polymer. A component including an electrically or thermally conductive polymer composition is also disclosed. A method for self-regulating a temperature of a component is also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a powder coating composition for preparing a dielectric coating. The powder coating composition includes: (a) an epoxy functional polymer; (b) a poly-carboxylic acid functional polyester polymer reactive with the epoxy functional polymer and which has an acid value of less than 100 mg KOH/g; and (c) a poly-carboxylic acid functional (meth)acrylate polymer reactive with the epoxy functional polymer. Further, if a colorant is present, the powder coating composition comprises 35 weight % or less of the colorant, based on the total solids weight of the coating composition.

A patterning paste is disclosed for patterning metal nanowires, the patterning paste including a complexing agent containing guanidine thiocyanate. A method of selectively patterning a substrate having metal nanowires includes: providing a substrate having a surface bearing metal nanowires; and selectively applying the patterning paste to the substrate such that the metal nanowires are selectively cut into a pattern. A consumer electronic product includes: a substrate having a surface bearing metal nanowires. The metal nanowires of the substrate are selectively patterned by applying the patterning paste to the substrate such that the metal nanowires are selectively cut into the pattern.

Methods of transferring an electrically conductive material to a substrate are disclosed. The methods include: a) contacting at least a portion of the substrate with an electrically conductive material disposed on a carrier film; and b) applying heat and pressure to the substrate and carrier film for a period of time ranging from 1 to 40 seconds, at a temperature ranging from 200&#xb0; F. to 450&#xb0; F., and at a pressure ranging from 30 to 150 psi, such that the electrically conductive material adheres to the substrate. Methods of forming a layered structure are also disclosed.
