An enterprise owned multi-function device (MFD) is disclosed. For example, the MFD includes, a communication interface to establish a communication session with an authentication server, a re-activation timer, a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to authenticate the enterprise owned MFD over the communication session when the enterprise owned MFD is activated at a remote location of an employee, create a local account of the employee for local authentication, and authorize access to the employee via the local account of the employee until the re-activation timer expires.

A sheet stacking apparatus includes a frame, a round member directly or indirectly connected to the frame, and an arm directly or indirectly connected to the frame. The arm is rotatable to rotate between a first position and a second position. An apparatus is disclosed. For example, the apparatus includes a paper feed to feed print media a single sheet at a time, a plurality of rotating discs, wherein each one of the plurality of rotating discs comprises an elastomer ring to secure a leading edge of the single sheet against a registration wall and initiate a flipping process, an air duct to force an air flow towards the print media to levitate a trailing edge of the single sheet during completion of the flipping process, and a movable platform to hold a stack of the print media.

Disclosed is a user interface associated with a printing system and a method of using the user interface to select a profile for jet detection. The printing system has a plurality of jets for outputting test images and document images and a jet detection device with at least one or more sensors for reading the output test images to detect faulty jets. The user interface provides a plurality of profiles for the jet detection device for selection. Each profile has a plurality of predetermined conditions that cause a test image to be printed at a particular location and analyzed. For example, a profile can include a time and a location for printing output test images using one or more of the plurality of jets. Thus, a user can control the conditions for outputting test images and determining missing or faulty jets within the system.
