An gas burner assembly for a cooking appliance includes a main burner assembly, a simmer burner assembly positioned in a stacked relationship with and located below the main burner assembly, a venturi assembly for delivering a gas flow to the main burner assembly, a gas boost pump configured to control a pressurization of the gas flow, a gas valve assembly for controlling a rate of the gas flow, and an encoder coupled to the gas valve assembly, the encoder configured to track a position of the gas valve assembly and provide a signal to the gas boost pump for pressurization of the gas flow.

Gas burner assembly

An appliance including a chassis having a top, a bottom, a left and right side opposite one another other and connecting the top and the bottom, and a back opposite an opening. The chassis defines a cavity with an opening for accessing the cavity. A door assembly joined to the chassis includes a door for closing access to the opening and a first and second door lift sub-assemblies. The door lift sub-assemblies are configured to move with the door in a first direction and a second direction different than the first direction. At least one stabilizing device operatively connects the first and second door lift sub-assemblies to synchronize movement of the first and second door lift sub-assemblies in the first direction.

Door assembly for an appliance

A gas burner assembly connected to a source of gas. The gas burner assembly has a burner body. The burner body has a generally enclosed chamber with a central axis and is configured with a generally circular wall. Ports are formed at the top of the wall and are in flow communication to an area external the burner body for combustion of the gas. A venturi directs the flow of gas from the source of gas into the chamber through an opening where the opening is offset from the central axis of the chamber. The burner body further has a stability chamber.

Device and method for a gas burner

A gas range having a cook top and a gas burner assembly connected to a source of gas having a variable flow rate. The burner assembly is positioned in the cook top. The gas burner assembly has a burner body with a gas input, the gas input is in a first flow communication with a first chamber and a second flow communication with a second chamber. Each chamber has at least one port in an exterior wall for flow communication to an area external of the burner body for combustion of the gas. The second flow communication has a tripping pin to deflect flow during high flow conditions and to not deflect flow during low flow conditions. A burner cap is positioned on the burner body.
