An electrically driven press tool that is compact, reliable and cost-effective. There is a press tool in which a crimping tool is retained in a recess by a bolt. An electromotor drives a spindle, which interacts with the crimping tool, by a reducing gear. The spindle is connected to a shaft by a pressure flange. The bearing pressure, which acts on the spindle, is brought to bear on a pressure ring by a pressure flange and a pressure bearing, the ring acting directly or indirectly on a force or pressure sensor. When a predetermine set value of the crimping is reached, the sensor forwards a switching signal to the controller of the drive motor.

A pressing tool for connecting pipe-shaped work pieces wherein the pressing tool has a fork-shaped receiver and a clamping tool interchangeably held in the receiver by a connecting bolt. The pressing tool has two clamping jaws which can be moved toward each other. A drive motor operates the clamping tool. The connecting bolt can be pushed through bores in the fork-shaped receiver and in the clamping tool, for maintaining the clamping tool in an exchangeable position within the fork-shaped receiver. A contactless electronic tracing device is arranged in the fork-shaped receiver, which determines a relative position of the clamping jaws in relation to the fork-shaped receiver. The contactless electronic tracing device also passes a signal to either an optical warning device or an acoustical warning device.

Pressing tool

A motor is disposed above the protective covering or chassis of a movable surface treatment device. Via its vertically arranged power take-off shaft, the motor drives the horizontally extending rotor shafts, on which respectively one rotor cage is disposed on both sides of a gear housing. The rotor shafts are driven in opposite directions, so that one drum mills in the same direction and the other drum mills with opposite horizontal rotary movement. The gear housing is driven in a stepped-down manner via a two-stage transmission by a power take-off pulley disposed on the power take-off shaft. The rotor cages make two superimposed rotary movements. Thus, the treated surface no longer has a grooved appearance, the surface is treated more evenly and better, and finally, no self-driving force acts on the movable surface treatment device. Work safety is thus increased in addition to work quality. One rotor cage is driven in the same direction, the other in the opposite direction with respect to the horizontal rotation, by which the work output is increased and the appearance of shadows is removed.

Movable surface treatment device

A pressing tool for coupling elements includes a forked receiver, a clamping claw which is interchangeably held in the receiver by a connecting pin, and a drive motor for the activation of the clamping claw. The connecting pin can be inserted through holes bored in the forked receiver and the clamping claw crosswise relative to the lengthwise direction of the housing of the pressing tool. A monitoring element is provided, which checks to ensure that the connecting pin is fully inserted. The monitoring element is connected to the power source of the drive motor by means of a switching element.

A manually displaceable implement for ground treatment comprising a housing (1), a rotor drum (2) rotatably maintained therein and driven by a motor, a connecting piece (3) and height-adjustable running wheels (5). In the non-operating state, the running wheels (5) are lowered, so that the rotor drum (2) is raised off the ground (B) to be treated. In the process, at least one running wheel (5) rests against a stop disposed on the housing (1) and is blocked in this manner. The implement for ground treatment is secured by this blocking means (10) and does not make any uncontrolled movements, even if the drive motor of the rotor drum (2) is switched on.

A manually displaceable implement for ground treatment comprising a dead-man safety based on an automatic lowering and blocking of the running wheels (5). A stop (10) is provided on the implement for blockage, against which at least one lowered running wheel (5) rests. The automatic lowering of the running wheels (5) is accomplished by a two-part height adjustment rod (4), which is maintained together by an emergency release element (12). In an emergency, this emergency element (12) is activated by a ripcord, whereby the connection is automatically released.

Implement for ground treatment with a dead-man safety

A treatment disk for devices for roughening or treating surfaces of stone floors, wherein hammer-like treatment points are mounted on the treatment disk opposite each of respectively semicircular slideways of the treatment disk. This shape makes it possible for an operation of a treatment point to cause the treatment disk to make a circular movement in the slideway and not, as previously known, a jumping or chattering movement as in a compressed air jack. The treatment disk is preferably made in three parts, so that the cutout has an overall shape resembling a three-leaf clover and the treatment points are offset by approximately 20.degree. with respect to the symmetry axes of the clover leaf. This shape has proven to be particularly effective.

Treatment disk of apparatus for roughening or treating surfaces

A motor-driven propulsion device (10) can be attached separately to a surface-cleaning machine (1), which has a drive (2) for a rotor drum and is equipped with a handle supporting deck (3) for manual propulsion. For this, the device (10) is connected mechanically to the handle supporting deck (3) and secured to the axle (5) of the surface-cleaning machine (1) with a swivel hook (34) and a two-pronged fork. In this position, at least one motor-driven frictional wheel (11) presses on the running wheels (6) of the surface-cleaning machine (1). The frictional wheel (11) is driven by a separate motor in the housing (12) of the propulsion device (10), which, if necessary, uses a separate power supply or the same power supply as the drive motor of the rotor drum of the surface-cleaning machine (1).

Feed device on a surface-cleaning machine

The percussion mechanism of this device, comprising a cylinder, a free piston, an anvil, a tool holder in which a bundle of needles is disposed, the heads of which are applied to the anvil, is mounted to slide in a tubular housing between two springs used to insulate dynamically the percussion mechanism of the housing and of the handle which holds it. The cylinder is mounted in the housing by a suspension comprising two annular seals and the cylinder is set with a clearance so that the centering provided by the seals insulates mechanically the cylinder of the housing and reduces the transmission of vibrations.

Percussion device

A pneumatic hammer comprises a cylindrical housing, in which are a free piston, an anvil, and needles the rear ends of which end in heads designed to rest against the anvil and supported by a tool holder. The anvil comprises a steel cylinder in the lateral surface of which is an annular rebate. The cylinder is surrounded by a plastics material in the rebate, the outer surface of which material forms the cylindrical sliding surface of the anvil. The volume occupied by the plastics material is approximately 50% of the total volume, such that the mass of the anvil is approximately halved.

A portable surface processing apparatus which has two rotors (R.sub.1, R.sub.2) fitted with blades driven in opposite directions by a motor (M). The reaction forces arising in the processing therefore mutually cancel each other.
