Methods, systems, and apparatuses for producing one or more of trioxygen, reactive nitrogen species, hydrogen and its ions, oxygen and its ions, and electronically modified oxygen derivatives from oxidizing agents that are exposed to certain frequencies of photon/phonon emissions, exposed for certain amounts of time, and exposed to certain intensities of photon/phonon emissions. The oxidizing agent or oxidizing agents can be exposed to multiple frequencies and wavelengths of photon/phonon emissions and multiple exposures of photon/phonon emissions. The methods displayed provide a new paradigm to perform photocatalytic oxidation of substrates using photon/phonon emissions and/or MPA as energy input, trioxygen, hydrogen and oxygen and its isotopes as the catalysts and oxidizing agents as the oxygen source and the elimination or reduction of dissociation reactions to minimize hindrances to the reactions.

Utilization of particle size manipulation in addition to particle agglomeration in combinations with muti photon and phonon emissions on oxidizing agents creating augmented oxidizing agents, AOAs

A method for differentially lysing a liquid sample or target material using an augmented oxidizing agent (AOA), which includes a quantity of electronically modified oxygen derivatives (EMODs). The method reduces or eliminates total dissolved solids (IDS), total suspended solids (TSS), Biologic Oxygen Demand (BOD), microbial concentration, biofilms and other content in the liquid target material known or suspected to contain animal fluids, blood and blood cells and suspected or known to contain eukaryotic cells, microbial cells, bacteria, viruses, spores, fungi, prions, organic matter, minerals, proteins or associated structures. The BOD, TDS and TSS can be lowered or eliminated as desired. This action is directly proportional to the quantity of EMODs in the AOS applied to the liquid target material.

Method and system for lysing a liquid sample with augmented oxidizing agents to create a solution with a reduced microbial concentration and precipitate formation

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for producing one or more of trioxygen, hydrogen and its ions, oxygen and its ions, hydrons, hydroperoxyls, and electronically modified oxygen derivatives from oxidizing agents that are exposed to photon emissions at a wavelength in a range of 0.01 nm to 845 nm, wherein wavelengths that photo-dissociate trioxygen may be excluded. The methods, systems and apparatuses enhance the effectiveness of photo-oxidation, photocatalytic, and/or photochemical combined with photocatalytic reactions.

Described herein are various methods, systems, and apparatus for reducing and eliminating, microbes, minerals, chemicals and biofilms from contaminated substances. A combination of oxidizing agents and radiation of certain wavelengths forming a synergistic reaction. The synergistic reaction generates EMODs, which are effective in reducing microbial count, unwanted mineral or chemical concentrations and eliminating or blocking biofilm formation, particularly in anaerobic environments. The synergistic reaction produces long lasting EMODs thereby creating a residual effect. This synergistic reaction has a relationship to EMOD creation and has a detrimental effect on microbial contamination (MC), mineral contamination (MINC), chemical contamination (CC), microbial influenced corrosion (MIC) and biofilm creation. MC, MINC, CC, MIC and biofilm can be eliminated or greatly reduced with the treatment methods in or on equipment including pipelines, storage tanks, supplying systems, cooling systems, and processing equipment.

The retainer for therapeutic treatment may include: a retainer that may retain a antimicrobial solution against tissue; a number of heating elements connected to the retainer for therapeutic treatment; a number of power supply cables connected to the number of heating elements; a number of antimicrobial solution delivery elements connected to the retainer for therapeutic treatment that may deliver an antimicrobial solution; a number of pieces of tubing having a first end connected to a antimicrobial solution reservoir and a second end connected to a number of antimicrobial solution delivery elements; a number of fiber optic cables having a first end connected to a light source; and a number of light terminations rigidly connected to the retainer for therapeutic treatment and connected to the second end of the fiber optic cable.

Methods for treating acne vulgaris include providing a solution having a peroxide compound, the solution having an antimicrobial effect for reducing bacteria that cause acne vulgaris; topically administering a therapeutically effective amount of the solution to the patient; and once administered, exposing the solution to a wavelength of light that creates a synergistic antimicrobial effect with the solution and enhances the antimicrobial effect of the solution, thereby further reducing or eliminating the bacteria that cause acne vulgaris. The methods may decrease lesions and associated inflammation in patients infected with acne vulgaris.

Dental and medical devices with a light source and antimicrobial solution include an antimicrobial solution; a fiber optic cable that exposes the antimicrobial solution to light of a predetermined wavelength; and a solution holding apparatus that retains the lighted antimicrobial solution against the tissue. A method for antimicrobial treatment of a user includes retaining an antimicrobial solution in a solution holding apparatus; purposefully selecting a wavelength of light that reacts with the antimicrobial solution; providing the selected wavelength of light from an LED or laser or other appropriate light source; utilizing a fiber optic cable to expose the antimicrobial solution to the light; and utilizing the solution holding apparatus to hold the lighted antimicrobial solution against the user.
