The invention is based on a wiper blade () with an elongate, spring-elastic carrying element () which is precurved in a concave fashion with respect to a vehicle window () and has two spring rails () which run parallel to one another in a plane, and having a wiper strip () which is held with a web () of its head strip () between the spring rails () via the carrier element (), said spring rails () being inserted in longitudinal grooves () on both sides of the web (), wherein the wiper strip () is secured in the longitudinal direction () relative to the carrier element () at least close to one of the ends of said wiper strip (). It is proposed that the spring rails () have, at the longitudinal sides facing one another in their end regions, clips () with cutters () which, in the mounted state, cut into adjoining walls of the longitudinal grooves ().

Wiper blade

The invention is based on a wiper blade () with an elongated, spring-elastic carrier element () which is pre-curved concavely with respect to a vehicle window () and has at least one spring rail, and with a wiper strip () which is held by the carrier element (), wherein the wiper blade () is secured relative to the carrier element () by an end cap () at least near to one end in the longitudinal direction (), which end cap () has, on one longitudinal side, an opening which can be closed off by a flap () which can pivot about a pivoting axis () running in the longitudinal direction () into an open position and into a closed position. It is proposed that securing means () be provided on the end cap () or the flap (), which securing means () can be moved by the activation of the flap () with the wiper blade () or with an element () connected thereto into an operative connection or out of an operative connection, wherein the securing means () are supported in the longitudinal direction () on the carrier element () or an element () which is permanently connected thereto, and said securing means () and/or become detached therefrom.

The invention is based on a method of producing bent spring elements from a spring steel strip (), wherein a feed unit () delivers the spring steel strip () from a supply roll () to a bending unit () having at least three bending rollers () and a reverse bending roller (), of which at least one bending roller () and the reverse bending roller () can be adjusted transversely to the spring steel strip () by bending motors (), and wherein a cutting-off unit () adjoins the bending unit (), said cutting-off unit () cutting off the spring steel strip () into individual spring elements by means of cutting-off tools (). It is proposed that the cutting-off tools () be movable in the longitudinal direction of the spring steel strip () in a numerically controlled manner and that they be synchronized with the feed movement of the spring steel strip () during the cutting-off operation.

Method and device for producing bent spring elements

The invention is based on a connection element () for connecting a wiper blade (), which has at least one spring rail () as a supporting element, to a wiper arm in an articulated manner, with the connection element () having claws () which are integrally formed on the side of a base part () and, in the mounted state, surround and retain the spring rail () by the base part () being supported on a part of a wiper rubber () which is arranged between the spring rail () and the base part (). The invention proposes that the connection element () has means () with which the surface pressure between the base part () and the wiper rubber () is locally increased.

Connection element

The invention relates to a connecting element () for hingedly connecting a wiper blade () to a wiper arm, said wiper blade () having a wiper strip () and at least one sprung blade () inserted into the wiper strip (). Said sprung blade projects beyond the wiper strip () in the area of the connecting element () and is enclosed by guide rails () that are interlinked by at least one spring clip () and secured in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade () by at least one locking element () which laterally engages with a recess () of the sprung blade ().

Connecting element for wiper

A wiper blade is proposed, which is for cleaning for windows, particularly of motor vehicles. The wiper blade () has an elongated, rubber-elastic wiper strip (), which can be placed against the window () and is connected to an elongated, spring-elastic support element () so that their longitudinal axes are parallel, which support element () is directly connected to a device () for connecting the wiper blade to a driven wiper arm (). The support element () has two band-like spring strips (), which are situated in a plane that is disposed in front of the window, essentially parallel to the window, and whose one, lower band surfaces () are oriented toward the window and whose adjacent, inner longitudinal edges (), which are disposed spaced a distance () apart from each other, each protrude into a respective longitudinal groove (, or), which grooves are associated with each longitudinal edge and are open toward a respective longitudinal side of the wiper strip (), and these two spring strips () are connected to each other by at least two crosspieces () disposed spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction. Manufacturing advantages for the wiper blade according to the invention are achieved if each crosspiece () has a middle section () which extends spaced a distance () apart from the upper band surfaces () of the spring strips (), producing bridge-like crosspieces, where the distance () between the two longitudinal strips () is less than the bridge width ().

Wiper blade for cleaning vehicle windows

A wiper blade is proposed, which is used for cleaning windows, particularly of motor vehicles. The wiper blade () has an elongated, rubber-elastic wiper strip (), which can be placed against the window () and is connected in a longitudinally parallel fashion to an elongated, spring-elastic support element (), which has a connecting device () for a wiper arm (). The wiper blade has two band-like spring strips (), which are parallel to each other and are disposed in a plane spaced a distance () apart from the window () and whose one, inner longitudinal edges () disposed close to each other are spaced a distance () apart from each other, and the wiper strip, which has a uniform cross section over its longitudinal span, has a strip-like wiper lip (), which can be placed against the window and which, by means of a narrow intermediary strip () that is formed by opposing groove-like constrictions (), is connected to a covering strip () secured to the support element (), and the spring strips secure the wiper strip. A wiper blade, which is particularly low-profile and therefore insensitive to the flow conditions of the window, is obtained if each of the two inner longitudinal edges () of the spring strips () is disposed in one of the two groove-like constrictions () of the wiper strip (), where the width of the constriction grooves (), at least over an outer partial region, is greater than the thickness of the spring strips ().

The invention relates to a method for producing a bandlike-elongated, spring-elastic element ( ) for supporting a rubber-elastic wiper strip ( ) of a windshield wiper for vehicles, which element has two spring rails ( ), located with a spacing ( ) from one another and essentially parallel to one another, which at least on both of their end portions are solidly joined together by transverse ribs ( ) that are disposed on the one band face ( ) of the spring rails and that span the spacing ( ). An especially advantageous production method for such a support element is obtained in that the prefabricated spring rails ( ) are solidly joined together in pairs and oriented essentially parallel to one another by means of at least one bandlike retaining element ( ) oriented transversely to the spring rails; that the gridlike combination ( ) thus obtained is subjected to at least one further method step, by which, by cutting the retaining element ( ) between the applicable pairs of spring rails ( ), the support elements ( ) are released from the combination ( ).
