In at least one embodiment, a compression plate to be used with a slip hanger or a packoff in oilfield equipment is disclosed. The compression plate includes one or more grooves or slots extending circumferentially with respect to an axis of the slip hanger or the packoff. The compression plate is to be associated with an annulus seal gland of the slip hanger or the packoff and is to enable a gland volume of the annulus seal gland to change with temperature applied to the slip hanger or the packoff.

In at least one embodiment, a valve removal (VR) system for an oilfield equipment includes a VR plug having a first surface and a second surface. The VR system includes a bushing to be removably associated with the first surface. The bushing is to extend, at least partly, beyond the second surface of the VR plug. The bushing is also to contact an inner surface of a valve of the oilfield equipment and to prevent the second surface from contacting the inner surface of the valve. The VR system includes a guiding rod to be associated with the VR plug to support guidance of the VR plug through the valve of the oilfield equipment. The guiding rod is also to be disassociated from the VR plug to support removal of the guiding rod from the valve with the VR plug remaining in the oilfield equipment.

A valve assembly includes a valve body and a valve member configured to translate between an open and a closed position. The valve assembly also includes a bonnet coupled to the valve body and a valve stem coupled to the valve member. The valve assembly also includes an actuator coupled to the bonnet. The actuator includes a first drive mechanism positioned to translate a first driving force to the valve stem, the first drive mechanism being in operation during a normal operating condition. The actuator also includes a second drive mechanism positioned to translate a second driving force to the valve stem, the second drive mechanism being in operation during a fail-safe operating condition.

A fluid fitting for use with a hydrocarbon production device includes an annular fitting assembly inserted into a port formed in the hydrocarbon production device. A first outer diameter seal is located between the fitting assembly and the port. A packing assembly is located in an annulus between the fitting assembly and an inner surface of the port, defining a second outer diameter seal between the fitting assembly and the port.
