In one example in accordance with the present disclosure a print duplexing assembly is described. The assembly includes a duplexing device to facilitate printing on both sides of a print media. The assembly also includes a platen coupled to the duplexing device to guide the print media along a feed path as it is being printed on. The platen and the duplexing device are selectively removable from a printing device in which they are installed.

A method of printing includes directing print media to a print zone between a printhead and a platen for printing; and adjusting a spacing between the printhead and the platen based on a combination of at least two of environmental conditions of the printing, a print mode of the printing, an orientation of the print media for the printing, and a characteristic of the print media for the printing.

In one example, a media guide for use with a print bar includes a plate suspended over the print bar to guide a leading edge of print media away from printheads on the print bar during printing when the print bar is installed in a printer.

An inkjet printing process includes advancing a print medium so that it contacts a relatively high-contact area of a platen. After the print medium first contacts the relatively high-contact area, ink is deposited on a side of the medium not contacting the platen to form an image. The print medium continues to advance so that the image passes over a relatively low-contact area of the platen.

A method of printing includes directing print media to a print zone between a printhead and a platen for a print job; and adjusting a spacing between the printhead and the platen during the print job, including one of adjusting the spacing within a page of the print job and adjusting the spacing between pages of the print job.

Example embodiments disclosed herein relate to a print media jam clearance assembly for use in a printing device. The print media jam clearance assembly includes a first print medium jam clearance position and a second print medium jam clearance position. This is accomplished, in part, by a repositionable platen of the printing device.

An apparatus and method for retrieving data related to a data cartridge contained in a multi-plane media storage system. One or more data retrieval devices are attached to the cartridge access device.
