A voltage testing system. The voltage testing system includes a pair of probes, each having a housing with a first end and a second end, wherein the pair of probes are electrically connected by a wire affixed to the first end of each of the pair of probes. A prong extends from the second end of the pair of probes, wherein a pin extends therethrough. The pin is electrically conductive, such that the pin is in communication with a fuse and a plurality of lights within the housing. The pin can be spring-biased such that a connection is formed between the fuse and the pin when the force is applied to the pin. The fuse can sever the electrical connection when a set current is transmitted through the fuse, such that a user is protected from excessive currents. The plurality of lights illuminate in response to receiving a preset voltage.

Voltage testing system

A dual-independent powertrain for a vehicle includes a transmission enclosure that houses a first transmission and a second transmission that are mechanically decoupled from each other. The enclosure includes a central frame, a first enclosure cover that interfaces with the central frame to collectively define a first transmission region on a first side of the central frame, and a second enclosure cover that interfaces with the central frame to collectively define a second transmission region on a second side of the central frame. The first transmission is housed within the first transmission region, and the second transmission is house within the second transmission region. Each transmission includes a motor-interfacing shaft that interfaces with a respective electric motor, a drive-interfacing shaft that interfaces with a respective drive wheel of a vehicle, and a multi-stage gear train mechanically coupling the motor-interfacing shaft and the drive-interfacing shaft.

Vehicle powertrain with dual-independent transmissions

A system and method of executing secure communications between first and second domains includes a first logical unit and a second logical unit. The first logical unit periodically calculates timestamps and hashes. The first logical unit also transmits a web form to a node of a first domain responsive to a request and the web form is displayed to a user. The first logical unit receives data input to said web form by the user and enhances the data by adding one or more security services. The first logical unit translates the received data from a first network application level protocol to a target network application level protocol while preserving said data security enhancements and transmits the translated data across a public network. A second logical unit de-enhances the translated data and filters the translated data data. The second logical unit further authorizes the filtered data and transmits the filtered data to a node of the second domain for use in an application.

System and method for secure communication between domains

A method for secure communications between first and second domains where a first logical unit calculates timestamps and hashes and transmits web forms to a node of a first domain responsive to a request. The first unit further receives data input to the web form by the user and enhances and translates that data and transmits the translated data across the public network. A second logical unit de-enhances the translated data, filters the translated data authorizes the filtered data and adds security services without modifying the application.

The present invention is a modular roof covering made up of a plurality of interlocking modular trays having moisture or water absorbing component or medium in the tray to absorb moisture and allow it to evaporate or otherwise dissipate over time. The trays interlock with each other and are held down by weights or other ballast to secure the trays to the roof without having to create a physical connection between the trays and the roof structure. The modular roof covering can be made up of different types of tray assemblies, where some have vegetation growing in the tray, others have merely water absorption and dissipation capability, while others have photovoltaic cells for the collection and use of solar energy. The present invention provides a light weight, low cost roof covering system for extending the life of current roof structures, and to restore and protect the environment, moderate and aid in controlling building temperature, manage stormwater runoff and collect and utilize solar energy.

Modular roof covering system

An intelligent token protected system includes a local host computer, an intelligent token in communication with the local host computer and a remote host computer in communication with the local host computer. The intelligent token interacts with the local host computer to perform a secure boot on the local host computer with minimal user input. Without additional user input, the intelligent token also interacts with the remote host computer to authenticate the local host computer to the remote host computer.

A combination duct/extinguishing system includes a duct and plural sprinkler head assembly and mounting systems on the duct. Each sprinkler head assembly and mounting system includes port structure mounted on the duct defining a passageway into an area internally of the duct, sprinkler head structure having one end associated with a corresponding port structure, and another end associated with an extinguishing media, and collar structure for removable engaging the port structure and the sprinkler head structure to fixedly hold the sprinkler head in the area internally of the duct. Preferably, the collar structure includes two halves hingedly joined, each having wall structure defining a groove for receiving a portion of the port structure and the sprinkler head structure.

Sprinkler head mounting system

The possibility of corruption of critical information required in the operation of a computer is reduced by storing the critical information in a device; communicating authorization information between the device and the computer; and causing the device, in response to the authorization information, to enable the computer to read the critical information stored in the device. The device includes a housing, a memory within the housing containing information needed for startup of the host computer, and a communication channel for allowing the memory to be accessed externally of the housing. The device is initialized by storing the critical information in memory on the device, storing authorization information in memory on the device, and configuring a microprocessor in the device to release the critical information to the computer only after completing an authorization routine based on the authorization information.
