Methods of, and apparatus for, two-sided thermal printing comprising direct and/or thermal transfer print means are provided. In one embodiment, a combined direct thermal and thermal transfer printer and related media are disclosed wherein direct thermal printing is provided for on a first media side, and thermal transfer printing is provided on a second media side. In other embodiments, various two-sided thermal transfer printers and media are disclosed wherein thermal transfer printing is provided for on first and second media sides through use of, inter alia, a one- and/or a two-sided thermal transfer ribbon.

Apparatus for fanfolding media

A direct thermal label and methods of making thereof are provided. In one embodiment, a direct thermal label comprising a first substrate and a thermal barrier coating is provided, wherein the first substrate has a thermally sensitive coating situated over the thermal barrier coating on at least a first side thereof.

Thermal labels

Two-sided thermal media comprising thermal transfer receptive and/or direct thermal thermally sensitive coatings on one or both of a first and a second side thereof are provided. In one embodiment, two-sided thermal media comprising a substrate having a first side and a second side, opposite the first side, and a first and a second thermal transfer receptive coating supported on the respective first and second substrate sides is provided. In another embodiment, two-sided thermal media comprising a substrate having a thermal transfer receptive coating on a first side thereof, and a direct thermal thermally sensitive coating on a second side thereof, is provided. In some embodiments, a direct thermal thermally sensitive coating provided on one or both sides of two-sided thermal media is adapted to image at a temperature different than a temperature at which thermal transfer printing has or can occur.

Two-sided thermal media

A dual-sided thermal form-card and method for manufacturing are provided. In an embodiment, the dual-sided thermal form card includes a dual-sided thermal form including a first side and a second side, and a dual-sided thermal card including a first side and a second side being integral with the form and detachable therefrom, wherein the form and the card are adapted to be thermally imaged from respective first and second sides thereof. In an embodiment, the method of manufacturing a dual-sided thermal form-card includes providing dual-sided thermal medium including a first side and a second side, and perforating or die cutting the dual-sided thermal medium to produce a form and a card integral to the form, wherein the form and the card are adapted to be thermally imaged from the first side and the second side.

Various multisided thermal media image elements, and methods of manufacture thereof, are presented. In one embodiment, a first media substrate is at least partially coated with thermally sensitive ink on one or more of its sides. A second media substrate is coated with the thermally sensitive ink on at least one of its sides. The second media substrate is at least partially integrated with the first media substrate to form a multisided thermal media image element, wherein at least a portion of the second media substrate is capable of being removed for independent use. The multisided first and second media substrates are adapted to be imaged via a thermal printer individually and together upon integration into the image element.

Multisided thermal media combinations

A linerless label roll includes a web wound along a running axis, and having a series of index marks spaced longitudinally apart. A series of adhesive patches runs along the web, with differently sized adhesive-free zones therebetween in register with the index marks.

Idle registered label roll

A label roll includes a web having front and back surfaces wound in a roll. The back surface includes adhesive patches aligned in a column along the running axis of the web. The front surface includes a release strip behind the column of patches and laminated thereto in successive layers in the roll.

Columnar adhesive label roll

A web is dispensed from a roll and includes first and second bands adjoining along a fold line. A pattern of release is applied to the front side of the web along the first band, and a pattern of adhesive is applied to the front side of the web along the second band. The web is folded along the fold line to bond together the first and second bands in a laminate, and exposing back sides of the bands on opposite sides of the laminate. The second band is cut to define a removable label therein.

Foldform label laminate

A pharmaceutical script includes a face sheet laminated to a liner by an adhesive therebetween. The face sheet includes a removable label defined by a perimeter diecut. The label includes an excisable tab spaced inboard from a surrounding rim. The tab includes a slit along one edge thereof. And, the label and tab are removable together from the liner to expose adhesive on the label rim, without adhesive being exposed on the tab.

Excisable pharmaceutical label

A collapsible sawhorse is disclosed that includes an elongated beam supported at opposite ends by tubular supports. Each support includes a pair of tubular elements with the upper portions of the supports being received in channel guides fastened to opposite sides of the beam at each end portion. The tubular elements are downwardly divergent with respect to one another from the upper portion and are received in L-shaped sockets at the bottom with the sockets forming the feet of the sawhorse device. A pair of struts extend between different sockets between the supports with the central portion of the struts being fastened together when the device is assembled with the central portion slightly above the plane of the bottom of the feet formed by the sockets. The device is readily assembled and disassembled with the device, when disassembled, being compactly bundled for storage and/or transporting.

Collapsible sawhorse

A collapsible camper for use in the back of a pick-up truck or mounted on a set of travel wheels is designed to be in a compact and folded position during transit or storage and to unfold into a spacious camper at the desired site with a minimum of manual effort. A central floor is provided with opposing parallelepiped sections which fold outwardly from the longitudinal sides of the floor to increase the floor space as well as to provide a portion of the side walls of the camper. A canopy extends upwardly above the central floor portion to form the roof of the camper. The end walls of the camper fold upwardly from the central floor portion and interlock with the upstanding canopy to form the end walls of the camper. The side walls are formed from a plurality of stacked longitudinal plates which slideably unfold to interlock with each other thereby providing side walls between the canopy and the extended floor portions.
