Aspects described herein include devices and methods for an envelope tracking power supply. In some aspects, the envelope tracking power supply includes an envelope signal input port, an output power port, an input interface circuit coupled to the envelope signal input port, sensing and conditioning circuitry, and amplifier circuitry coupled between the input interface circuit and the sensing and conditioning circuitry, the amplifier circuitry having one or more control inputs. The envelope tracking power supply additionally includes switcher circuitry coupled to the output of the sensing and conditioning circuitry, and the output power port, and the supply further includes output filter circuitry coupled to the output power port and machine learning circuitry configured to receive state tracking data for performance of a transmit power amplifier (PA) that receives power via the output power port.

Radio frequency (RF) front end envelope tracking with machine learning

A communication system includes a passive quadrature generator connected directly to an in-phase (I) mixer and a quadrature (Q) mixer, an I LO amplitude detect circuit connected to the passive quadrature generator and connected to the I mixer, and a Q LO amplitude detect circuit connected to the passive quadrature generator and connected to the Q mixer, the I LO amplitude detect circuit configured to detect an I LO amplitude and the Q LO amplitude detect circuit configured to detect a Q LO amplitude, and a combining and integrating circuit configured to receive the detected I LO amplitude and the detected Q LO amplitude and generate an I LO DC bias voltage to bias the I mixer and a Q LO DC bias voltage to bias the Q mixer.

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus detects a level of power received from each of a plurality of sources. The apparatus directs the power received from a first source to a charging circuit and directs the power received from at least a second source to the charging circuit. The apparatus directs the power received from the first source to the charging circuit by comparing the detected level of the power with a threshold and directing the power to the charging circuit based on a result of the comparison. The apparatus directs the power received from the at least a second source to the charging circuit by comparing the detected level of the power with the threshold and directing the power to the charging circuit based on a result of the comparison.

Faster battery charging in consumer electronic devices

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for performing quadrature combining and adjusting. One example circuit may include first through fourth mixing circuits. The first mixing circuit may multiply a radio frequency signal with a first local oscillating signal to generate a first frequency converted signal. The second mixing circuit may multiply a radio frequency (RF) signal with a second local oscillating signal, which may be about 90&#xb0; out of phase with the first local oscillating signal, to generate a second frequency converted signal. The third and fourth mixing circuits may multiply the RF signal with the second and first signals, respectively, to generate third and fourth frequency converted signals, respectively. A first combining circuit may combine the first and third frequency converted signals, and a second combining circuit may combine the second and fourth frequency converted signals.
