A method is provided for categorizing a problem report in a repository of a problem reporting system as an enhancement request or as a defect. Based on the problem report being the defect and having a high severity level, determining a score indicating a probability that a text portion of the problem report includes problem reproduction steps. In response to the score indicating the probability of problem reproduction steps, flagging the problem report to automate. For each problem report to automate, copying the text portion of the problem report to an automated test script, whereby the test script runs in a continuous pipeline.

A computer implemented method and system for condensing a communications thread which includes monitoring, using a computer, a communications thread. Multiple instances of a repeated portion of content of the communications thread are identified. One instance of the repeated portion of content of the communications thread is retained. One or more additional instances of the repeated portion of content is removed and stored. A reference link in the communications thread is associated to the repeated portion of content. The communications thread is condensed, wherein the condensed communications thread includes the one instance of the repeated portion of content, and the reference link.

A Bluetooth system is comprised of a Bluetooth device and multiple network devices connectable to the Bluetooth device. This Bluetooth device can selectively switch connection pairings with devices in the network based on some triggering event. The switching function automatically occurs between the Bluetooth and network devices without any user intervention. This pairing enables seamless collaboration between devices owned by an owner based on the power settings and usage of the system without needing the user's interaction.

Establishing a wireless sound system is achieved using mobile devices, by: obtaining identifying information on multiple mobile devices within wireless proximity to a control node; automatically ascertaining acoustic-related specifications for the multiple mobile devices using the identifying information; dynamically assigning, based on the acoustic-related specifications, the multiple mobile devices to different component roles; and sending, from the control node of the sound system, wireless signal channels to the multiple mobile devices based on their different component roles to provide acoustic output. In one or more implementations, at least two mobile devices of the multiple mobile devices have different acoustic-related specifications, and two or more of the component nodes within the sound system have different desired specifications. The assigning matches mobile devices to component roles based on a comparing the acoustic-related specifications of the devices to the desired specifications of the component roles.

A method, system and computer program product for assisting authors in composing suitable messages or documents for intended recipients. A profile to be used in analyzing the message/document is obtained, where the profile contains a set of corrections and correlations to be applied to the message/document for the intended recipients of the message/document. The content of the message/document is analyzed using the obtained profile to assess for any language that may be misunderstood or offensive to the intended recipients. Upon identifying words, phrases, sentences or images in the message/document as being potentially misunderstood or offensive to the recipients, suggestions are provided to modify such language. In this manner, the author of the message/document is able to assess the content and context of the message/document based on the intended recipients prior to sending the message/document thereby reducing the likelihood that the recipients will interpret the message/document in an untoward manner.

A method for allowing independent viewing of web conference content may include enumerating a plurality of windows of content of a web conference to allow caching of visible and non-visible portions of each enumerated window by a client computer device of a participant to provide independent viewing of each enumerated window by the participant in the web conference. The method may also include forming a bitmap of visible and non-visible portions of each enumerated window. The method may further include transmitting the bitmap of each enumerated window to the client computer device of the participant in the web conference.

Under the present invention, componentized costs for providing/producing an item are collected from a plurality of suppliers. The componentized costs include the fixed and variable costs associated with raw materials and production for providing the item according to various specifications and order quantities. When a buyer wishes to obtain the item, a particular order specification and a demand forecast for the item will be provided. Based on the particular specification, the demand forecast and the componentized costs, an optimal order quantity for the item will be calculated. Then, a total (lifetime) cost for providing the item will be calculated for each supplier. The supplier having the lowest total cost for the projected lifetime of the item will be identified to the buyer.

Power is allocated to blades based on an estimate of the actual power they are expected to use rather than their maximum-power draw-value. To protect against situations where the estimated actual-power draw-value is exceeded, a hardware comparator monitors the blade system load against a predetermined threshold value set by a management module (MM) based on user input. If this threshold value is exceeded, a throttle latch is triggered, based on a signal from a service processor monitoring the blade system load. The output of this latch directly engages throttling. The service processor also monitors the output of the latch and communicates information regarding the throttling to the MM for evaluation.
