An apparatus for applying a decal to a nail of a human includes a housing having a cartridge recess, a cartridge that includes a supply spool around which a tape is at least partially wound, the tape having at least one decal that is transferrable to a nail of a human digit, and a take-up spool that includes a tape grip that holds an end of the tape, wherein the cartridge is removably mountable in the cartridge recess, an actuator coupled to the housing and moveable between an unactuated position and an actuated position, a tape advancement arrangement and a decal actuation surface are provided. The tape advancement arrangement coupled to the actuator and arranged to rotate the take-up spool to extend the tape from the supply spool during movement of the actuator between the unactuated position and the actuated position.

Apparatus, kit, and method for decorating nails

A toy includes a magnetically responsive member, a fulcrum member, a printed circuit board (PCB), a lid covering the PCB, an activation switch, a touch sensor, a motion sensor, an audio transducer, a signal generator and a controller. The flexible PCB includes an electromagnetic coil, and a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs). Opening of the lid actuates the activation switch, and in response, the controller controls the signal generator to generate a coil control signal for the electromagnetic coil to produce a magnetic field that interacts with the magnetically responsive member, to induce oscillatory flapping of the PCB. In response to detecting a touch signal from the controller, or a motion signal from the motion sensor, the controller also generates a LED control signal to control illumination of the LEDs while the PCB is flapping, and an audio control signal to control the audio transducer to output sound.

An apparatus, kit, and method for applying a decal to a nail of a human digit are provided. A base coat of base nail polish is applied to a nail. The base coat has a tacky surface when dry. A decal application product is pressed against the tacky surface of the base coat, and includes a substrate and at least one decal adhered thereto. The at least one decal and the substrate have a first adhesion coefficient therebetween. The at least one decal and the tacky surface have a second adhesion coefficient that is greater than the first adhesion coefficient to cause a subset of the at least one decal to adhere to the base coat. A top coat of a top nail polish is applied atop of the base coat and the subset of the at least one decal to seal the subset of the at least one decal and the base coat.

In a first aspect, a construction toy element is provided and includes a body and a first circumferential row of arms extending from the body. The body has an axis, and has a first axial end and a second axial end. A first circumferential row of arms extends from the body. Each arm includes a root end and a free end, and has a first connecting member thereon that is configured for connecting the construction toy element to another construction toy element. The root end projects from the body in a direction that is angled towards one of the first and second axial ends relative to a normal direction to a surface of the body.

An assembler for construction toy elements is provided. Each construction toy element has a plurality of arms extending from a body, wherein each arm includes a root end projecting from the body and a free end having a first connecting member thereon that is configured for connecting the construction toy element to another construction toy element. The assembler includes an alignment receptacle having a set of alignment structures defining positions along the alignment receptacle, each of the alignment structures receiving at least one of the construction toy elements and inhibiting movement thereof to other positions along the alignment receptacle. The assembler also includes a set of element conduits, each of the element conduits having a receiving opening securely receiving the at least one of the construction toy elements from a corresponding one of the positions along the alignment receptacle. Further, the assembler includes a motion alignment structure controlling relative movement of the set of element conduits and the alignment receptacle between a first pose, in which the receiving openings of the element conduits are spaced from the alignment receptacle, and a second pose, in which each of the receiving openings of the element conduits are situated adjacent a corresponding one of the positions of the alignment receptacle to securely receive the at least one construction toy element located at the corresponding one position.
