A system for facilitating the design, installation and reconfiguration of physical connections in a network. One or more application modules interface with a chassis to create configurations for particular network needs. Different chassis can used for different network applications, such as a rack, housing or desk. A module tab, a faceplate protrusion and a mounting fastener provide a simple method for securing a module to the chassis through a chassis opening. The faceplate module is secured to the chassis and jacks are secured to the faceplate through the use of a jack plate. The jack plate fits through the opening of the chassis. The resulting connection module allows cables to come pre-terminated to a jack plate or cables can be assembled to a complete module. This allows a user to install jacks from the back of a rack or front of a rack.

Unified network connection device

A data center rack door having a curved permeable member is disposed vertically along a front-face of a data center rack. The curved permeable member provides an increase in surface area that provides for additional openings, increasing airflow through the data center rack. The curved permeable member also provides an increase in volume of space in the data center rack.

Data center rack door

A removable telecommunication sensor module is configured to be removably coupled between a power protection device and a bus bar and/or a backplane. The removable telecommunication sensor module monitors energy usage at a telecommunication equipment circuit level for a piece of telecommunication equipment arranged in a telecommunication network infrastructure.

Removable sensor modules

A telecommunication energy management system comprising a server configured to receive circuit current values identified with a respective piece of telecommunication equipment from a plurality of central boards located at respective telecommunication sites. The server integrates the received circuit current values and provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to allow a user to audit energy usage of each piece of telecommunication equipment of each telecommunication site.

Telecommunication energy management system

A telecommunication wireless site control system comprising a central control board configured to receive control signals disposed at a wireless site. The central control board may be communicatively coupled with current monitor and control boards, extension boards, and a local switch to control telecommunication equipment, power devices, and controllers.

Telecommunication wireless control system

A telecommunication panel may comprise a chassis configured to receive insertable Digital Signal Cross-connect (DSX) modules and a backplane connected to the chassis. The DSX module is compact to fit into the telecommunication panel. A ratio of the number of the insertable 6-port DSX modules over the backplane surface area at least about 0.37 modules per square inch is achieved. The DSX module may include a printed circuit board and a light emitting diode (LED) light pipe on the printed circuit board to minimize the width of the DSX module. The DSX module may be inserted into the telecommunication panel horizontally or vertically so that the telecommunication panel receives a maximum number of DSX modules.

High density digital signal cross-connect system

A thermochromic indicator is vertically disposed on a rack. Such that the thermochromic indicator is visible from a distance. In some examples, the thermochromic indicator indicates a bulk air temperature and a gradient air temperature. The thermochromic indicator provides a real-time visual of air temperatures of computing equipment and devices housed within a computing facility. The thermochromic indicator may be vertically disposed on a front-face and/or a back-face or a rack. A plurality of thermochromic indicators may be disposed on a plurality of front-faces and/or back-faces of racks of an array of racks.

A telecommunications infrastructure includes first and second trough members for routing signal-carrying fibers. Coupling members may be used to adjustably couple a first trough member arranged alongside a second trough member together. Coupling members may also be used to adjustably couple a first trough member together with a second trough member terminating at the first trough member.

Adjustable trough-couplers

Telecommunications equipment racks are described which are configured to occupy a minimum surface area, offer substantial strength while allowing substantial access to the interior of the rack. In one embodiment, a rack features a plurality of secondary and primary load bearing posts which are configured to allow substantial access to the interior of the rack. The rack may be further configured with a plurality of mountings to engage a plurality of telecommunications equipment within the interior of the rack.

Six-post telecommunications equipment rack

A telecommunication central office site monitor system comprising a central monitoring board configured to receive and send reported current values. The reported current values may be provided by current monitors, with each current monitor being arranged in-line with a power protection device and identified with a particular piece of telecommunication equipment.

Telecommunication wired monitor system

A low-resistance telecommunications power distribution panel provides a lower electrical resistance than traditional telecommunications power distribution panels, where the lower electrical resistance provides a reduced amount of waste heat. The low-resistance telecommunications power distribution panel may comprise a single unitary metal busbar configured to directly interconnect a power input cable to a plurality of fuse holders. A plurality of single unitary metal strips may directly connect to each fuse holder, each single unitary metal strip configured to directly connect to a power output lead. A single unitary metal return busbar may directly connect a return input to a plurality of return outputs.

Low-resistance telecommunications power distribution panel

A modular telecommunications device that may be configured with a variety of connector types that enable any telecommunications equipment to route signals through the telecommunications device. The device includes a quad jack frame, a main printed circuit board and an interchangeable back plate that can be replaced by another interchangeable back plate that includes a different connector type. A secondary printed circuit board is included in the interchangeable back plate. The incoming power to the device is provided to the main printed circuit that distributes power throughout the device.

Modular digital signal cross-connect system

The present invention uses multiple global cooling chambers for providing liquid cooling to a plurality of electronic components. The global cooling chambers utilize a non-electrically conductive fluid which is in direct contact with the components to be cooled. The system provides very effective heat transfer rates, environmental isolation of the electronics components and can be deployed in a wide range of applications. Multiple global cooling chambers allows for the hot swapping of cards during operation of the system. Valves provide the ability to minimize the amount of interaction between the cooling fluid and air outside the chambers.

Method of reducing fluid emissions from a global spray cooling system

A dual sided board thermal management system for efficiently thermally managing a printed circuit board having electronic components on opposing sides thereof. The dual sided board thermal management system generally includes a housing surrounding a portion of a printed circuit board, and a plurality of coolant dispensing units within the housing directed towards opposite sides of the printed circuit board to thermally manage electronic components on opposite sides of the printed circuit board.
