A liner bag for, for example, a flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC) includes a body portion formed by at least two sheets. The body portion has a first end and a second end defining a cavity therebetween. The first end has an opening for receiving a product. The liner bag also includes at least one seal (e.g., a vertical seal) joining the two sheets. The liner bag further includes at least one polymer flange secured to the two sheets and extending outward from the vertical seal to provide at least one fastening location to secure the liner bag to the container.

A spool has a first flange and a second flange. A barrel extends between the first flange and the second flange. A movable hub is located radially inward of the barrel. The barrel is axially wider than the movable hub and the movable hub is axially movable between a first operational position adjacent the first flange and a second operational position adjacent the second flange. The movable hub includes an axially-extending cantilevered detent arm forming a stop surface that limits axial movement of the movable hub toward one of the first flange and the second flange.

The invention described herein generally pertains to a system and method related to a hermetic seal assembly used with a bag to provide a hermetic seal for the bag that can be opened and closed while maintaining the hermetic seal for the bag and materials stored therein. The hermetic seal assembly can include a lid and a collar, wherein the collar can be releasably affixed to the bag or integrated into an opening of the bag.

The invention described herein generally pertains to a system and method related to a hermetic seal assembly used with a bag to provide a hermetic seal for the bag that can be opened and closed while maintaining the hermetic seal for the bag and materials stored therein. The hermetic seal assembly can include a lid and a collar, wherein the collar can be releasably affixed to the bag or integrated into an opening of the bag. The lid can include a sampling port and a corresponding removeable cap.

A welding wire coil packaging system including a process stand having an upright, the upright defining a hub receiver, the upright including a yoke supported on upright and spaced axially inward therefrom, and a cartridge including a shaft having a hub at one axial extremity, the hub being received in the hub receiver and at least partially supported on the yoke, a mandrel mounted on the shaft between a pair of end forms and adapted to receive a welding wire thereon in a coil winding process.

The invention described herein generally pertains to a hermetically sealed pouch for storing elongated objects. The pouch includes a plurality of pockets separated by longitudinal seals that are also perforated. A bundle of elongated objects to be inserted into an individual pocket of the pouch can be provided with caps on each end to protect a material of the pouch. The pouch can be provided with a label having a plurality of sections that each align with a corresponding pocket of the pouch. The label can include perforations between each section, which are aligned with perforations along the longitudinal seals of the pouch.

A spool wire storage device includes a cabinet body, a door for providing access to an interior of the cabinet body, and a plurality of U-shaped spooled wire storage trays mounted within the cabinet body. The U-shaped spooled wire storage trays include a U-shaped bottom shelf, and a U-shaped sidewall extending upward from the U-shaped bottom shelf. The U-shaped bottom shelf and the U-shaped sidewall form an open front portion of the storage tray extending between terminal ends of the U-shaped sidewall. The U-shaped bottom shelf declines from the open front portion rearward. A spool of wire is located in each of the plurality of U-shaped spooled wire storage trays. A base is located beneath the cabinet body. The base forms a first fork channel and a second fork channel configured to receive forklift forks.

A welding wire coil package system for a coil of wire including a sheath that is laid over the coil where the sheath includes at least one layer of material that adheres to the wire to hold the wire within the coil in the position that the coil is formed and prevent unintended movement of the wire, the sheath defining an opening through which wire is paid out from an interior surface of the coil.

A container for packaging a welding wire on a spool includes a box with opposed first and second face panels that are separated by four vertical side walls. At least one aperture on the four vertical side walls is defined by a frangible connection so that the interior of the box is initially inaccessible. At least one corner blocking insert includes an outer profile that corresponds to the spool of welding wire located within said box. After said frangible connection of the aperture is breached, the corner blocking is inserted into the interior of the box via said aperture and engages at least one of an outer perimeter rim of said spool containing a coil of welding wire, or an outer perimeter of the coil of welding wire. In various examples, the corner blocking insert is an expanding foam package, or a folded cardboard insert.

A container for packaging a welding wire on a spool includes a box with opposed first and second face panels that are separated by four vertical side walls. At least one aperture is provided on one of the first and second face panels located at one of the four vertically extending corners. Each aperture is defined by a frangible connection on one of the first and second face panels so that an interior of the box is initially inaccessible. At least one corner reinforcing element is provided that penetrates into the interior of the box via the aperture at one vertically extending corner after said frangible connection of the aperture is breached. The at least one corner reinforcing element engages the spool and forms a vertical support located at the vertically extending corner and between the first and second face panels.

The subject embodiments are directed to a system to allow an uninterrupted flow of a coil welding wire from one container to another container, the coil of welding wire including a coil top and a coil bottom. Each container includes at least one vertically extending side wall, a closed bottom, a top opening for removing the welding wire and a wire coil receiving cavity within the outer packaging for receiving the wire coil, the feeding end and the trailing end being positionable near the top opening. A wire retaining ring is disposed on the coil top in the container and another said container, the wire retaining ring includes a slot that extends radially from a center of the coil to allow the trailing end of the coil to be drawn at a location away from the center of the coil.

The invention described relates generally to a method and apparatus for improving existing bulk wire transfer methodologies and more particularly, to welding wire packages for use as an endless wire container such that the welding wire of multiple containers can be linked together to produce an uninterrupted flow of welding wire to a welding operation by employing a welding wire transfer guide, the guide having an outwardly-facing curvilinear groove, one end of said groove of said welding wire transfer guide positioned along a tangent line running between an outer diameter of the in-process coil of wire and an opposed end of said groove along a tangent line running between an inner diameter of the staged coil of welding wire. The apparatus further includes a magnetically positionable wire guide arm above at least two, preferably each bulk welding wire container.
