Methods, devices and systems for anchoring and/or sealing a heart valve prosthesis and, in particular, a mitral valve prosthesis (). Inflatable elements () are used to seal and anchor the mitral valve prosthesis () and/or other elements associated with repairing a native mitral valve.

System, devices and methods for anchoring and/or sealing a heart valve prosthesis

Systems and methods described herein include a pressure delivery component that has a pressure applicator configured to selectively apply therapeutic pressure to a treatment portion of a user body, and also includes a thermal delivery component that has a thermal applicator that is a configured to apply thermal treatment to the treatment portion. The thermal applicator may be removably disposable in operative relationship with the pressure delivery component in a use configuration of the treatment delivery component such that the thermal applicator is disposable between the treatment portion and the pressure applicator when the treatment delivery component is disposed on the treatment portion in the use configuration. Moreover, the pressure applicator is operable to apply pressure to the thermal applicator to enhance apposition of the thermal applicator to the treatment portion.

Therapeutic pressure, thermal, and/or other treatment modality systems and methods

Methods of delivering a prosthetic aortic heart valve are disclosed. The disclosed methods include loading a prosthetic aortic valve in a collapsed configuration into a delivery sheath so that a selected point on the prosthetic valve is rotationally aligned relative to a long axis of the delivery sheath with a selected radiopaque marker on the delivery sheath, while under fluoroscopic imaging, rotating the delivery sheath about its long axis to align a selected radiopaque marker on the delivery sheath with the selected point on the native aortic valve in a fluoroscopic imaging plane, thereby establishing a desired orientation of the prosthetic aortic valve with respect to the native aortic valve in which the prosthetic valve commissures are rotationally aligned with commissures of the native aortic valve, further advancing the delivery sheath along its long axis until the prosthetic aortic valve is disposed inside the native aortic valve, and deploying the prosthetic aortic valve into an implanted state inside the native aortic valve with the prosthetic aortic valve aligned in the desired orientation with respect to the native aortic valve.

Apparatus for treating blood flow regurgitation through a native heart valve includes a selective occlusion device sized and configured to be implanted in the native heart valve and selectively operating with at least one of the first or second native leaflets to allow blood flow through the native heart valve when the heart cycle is in diastole and reduce blood flow regurgitation through the native heart valve when the heart cycle is in systole. A clip structure is coupled with the selective occlusion device. The clip structure is configured to be affixed to a margin of at least one of the first or second native leaflets to secure the selective occlusion device to the native heart valve.
