A powder coating plant for coating a workpiece with coating powder includes a booth, which receives the workpiece delivered via a floor conveyor. In addition, the powder coating plant has an upper spray applicator arrangement for spraying coating powder downward, and a lower spray applicator arrangement for spraying coating powder upward. The upper and the lower spray applicator arrangement are thereby oriented toward the same workpiece. In addition, a manipulator is provided, to which the upper and the lower spray applicator arrangement is fastened. The manipulator is formed such that the spray applicator arrangements can be moved at least in the transport direction of the workpiece by the manipulator.

A powder center for supplying a powder coating facility with coating powder includes a powder reservoir container and a powder conveyor for transporting powder out of the powder reservoir container in the direction of the powder coating facility. A powder conveyor for conveying coating powder includes a housing for a container that includes a top part of the housing with a powder inlet and an upper ledge as well as a bottom part of the housing with a powder outlet and a lower ledge. The upper ledge and/or the lower ledge is/are situated at an acute angle with respect to the horizontal line. A tube is provided whose tube ends are open such that the powder can pass through the tube. The tube is made of a porous air-permeable material and is clamped, on the end face side, between the upper ledge and the lower ledge. A powder inlet valve is connected to the powder inlet of the top part of the housing. A powder outlet valve is connected to the powder outlet of the bottom part of the housing.

A powder conveying device for the conveying of coating powder to a powder applicator includes a working container that is designed and operable appropriately such that it can be pressurized. The working container further includes a powder inlet and a powder outlet, whereby the powder outlet is connected to a powder outlet valve. In addition, a powder conduit is provided that is connected, on the inlet side, to the powder outlet valve and includes, on the inlet side, an inlet for transport air. The powder conduit can be connected, on the outlet side, to a powder applicator. Moreover, a control is provided that is designed and operable appropriately such that it controls the amount of powder to be conveyed by repeatedly opening and closing the powder outlet valve.

The electrode holder for a powder spray gun operable at high voltage includes a powder channel and a web, arranged in the powder channel, for holding a high-voltage electrode. In addition, an annular groove arranged concentrically with the powder channel is provided and is open on the downstream side. A labyrinth for the high voltage is formed by the annular groove together with an annular web of a cap nut, the annular web protruding into the annular groove and said cap nut being used to lock the electrode holder.
