In a lighting device for a vehicle, a light guide assembly () for guiding the light emitted by a light source comprises a head portion () with decoupling elements () for decoupling at least some of the coupled-in light, and also a feed line portion (), which comprises a coupling-in region () for the coupling-in of light from a light source and by means of which light coupled in in this way is fed to the head portion (). The coupling-in region () has a first securing arrangement () with at least one element protruding transversely to the longitudinal axis of the coupling-in region (), for example a pin, by means of which the coupling-in region () is insertable into a first securing location in the lighting device and lockable there. The head portion () has a second securing arrangement () for securing the head portion () in the lighting device.

The invention relates to a lighting device () for a vehicle headlight, wherein the lighting device comprises: at least one LED light source (), at least one light-shaping optics body (), which is paired with the at least one LED light source (), and at least one LED light source carrier (), on which the at least one LED light source () is fastened. In accordance with the invention, positioning means () for positioning the at least one LED light source carrier () are provided on the optics body (), positioning means () for the subsequent positioning of a heat sink () on the optics body () are also provided, wherein a fixing element () is also provided, which can be fastened to the optics body () in such a way that in the fastened state the fixing element () presses the heat sink () against the LED light source carrier (), such that this is fixed in its position on the optics body ().
