Integrated audio paging configuration

A panoramic imaging system includes a plurality of separated video cameras that may be distributed around an object. A series of images captured by at least one of the separated video cameras is stored in a predetermined file format. The panoramic system further includes a viewer module that may render the series of images using the first file format. Moreover, the panoramic system includes a calibration module capable of modifying information associated with at least one of the series of images, where the modification results in calibration data stored in a configuration file and/or in the predetermined file format. The viewer module may also be capable of rendering the series of images in accordance with the predetermined file format.

Distributed video sensor panoramic imaging system

A method and/or system for performing computationally intensive processing associated with rendering and displaying an immersive image in an immersive view server and performing minimal or no additional processing at a viewer device. The viewer devices send viewing parameters to the immersive view server. In response, the immersive view server generates and sends images that may be part of the immersive image for display in viewports of the viewer devices. The viewer devices receive and display the image received from the server without or with minimal additional processing of the received images. The immersive view server and the viewer devices need only communicate view parameters and images corresponding to the viewport. Resource intensive processing is performed at the immersive view server. Hence, minimal computational and memory resources are required at the viewer device to display the immersive image.

Centralized immersive image rendering for thin client

The self-clustering of service processors within a system is disclosed. The system can also include an operating system or other software code, a management console, or both. The operating system communicates with the cluster of service processors, where the service processors are self-clustered or otherwise, such as through a memory shared by at least all the service processors. The operating system therefore need not be aware which of the service processors performs a given function. The console communicates with the cluster of service processors, where the service processors are self-clustered or otherwise, through any service processor of the cluster. The console therefore also need not be aware that the service processors have been clustered to perform functionality for the console.

Aggregating service processors as a cluster

Multiple streams of data are streamed to a user's terminal with images from different cameras. Low resolution thumbnail images tell the user what image streams are available. A focus stream provides high resolution images from a selected camera. A user can switch the focus stream to another stream by clicking on the associated thumbnail. The users can also be provided with a thumbnail of panoramic image. Other data streams sent to the user can contain (a) audio data, (b) interactivity markup data which describes regions of the image which provide interactivity opportunities such as hotspots, (c) presentation markup data which defines how data is presented on the user's screen, (d) a telemetry data stream which can be used for various statistical data. One data stream contains a low quality base image for each data stream which can be enhanced to form a high resolution focus image.

Multiple camera video system which displays selected images

The self-clustering of entities within a system is disclosed. The system can also include a host. Each entity self-discovers all the other entities, such that the entities are aggregated as a cluster. The host communicates with the cluster of entities, where the entities are self-clustered or otherwise, such as through a memory shared by all the entities. The host therefore need not be aware which of the entities performs a given function.
