In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a printing fluid container for a printing system is described. The printing fluid container includes a container body for holding printing fluid, a collar connected to the container body, and a cap removably engaging the collar. The collar has a plurality of collar teeth extending peripherally around the collar. The cap has a plurality of cap teeth extending peripherally around the cap. The cap teeth are configured for interfitment with the collar teeth such that rotation of the cap about the longitudinal axis in a first rotational direction effects cam-actuated removal of the cap from the collar.

One example provides an article. The article includes a container body. The article includes a lid covering the container body, the lid including a lid aperture to permit passage of a printing fluid into the container body. The article includes a lid manifold mounted to the lid. The lid manifold includes a lid manifold input port to be fluidly connected to and disconnected from a container manifold port of a separate printing system. The lid manifold includes a lid manifold output opening that is in the form of a needle having a length of less than or equal to about 6 mm and is fluidly connected to the lid aperture. The lid manifold includes a channel fluidly connecting the lid manifold input port and the lid manifold output opening.

A container assembly may include a regulated tank to contain a fluid, a free tank to replenish the fluid in the regulated tank, a first expandable member between an interior of the regulated tank and ambient atmospheric pressure, a second expandable member between the interior of the regulated tank and an inflation port, a first valve to selectively connect the free tank to the regulated tank based upon a pressure differential between the interior of the regulated tank and an interior of the free tank and a second valve actuatable between an open state permitting an interior of the free tank to be pressurized and a closed state. The second valve is actuatable between the open state and the closed state based upon a position of the first expandable member.

Container assembly

Ink supplies are disclosed in examples herein. An example apparatus a housing includes a first chamber and a second chamber, the housing defining a first port to fluidly couple the first chamber to a printer, the housing including a second port to fluidly couple the first chamber and the second chamber to flow fluid from the second chamber to the first chamber. The apparatus also includes a regulator coupled between the first chamber and the second chamber, the regulator to flow gas from the first chamber to the second chamber when a pressure within the first chamber reaches a threshold.

Ink supplies

In some examples, a container assembly includes a first body to supply a printing composition, the first body comprising a first port, and the container assembly includes a second body to store a reserve printing composition, the second body comprising a second port. An interconnect has a storage position to fluidically isolate the first body from the second body, and a use position to fluidically connect the first body to the second body to allow the reserve printing composition to flow from the second body to the first body to replenish the printing composition in the first body and to allow air in the first body displaced by the reserve printing composition to flow from the first body to the second body. The interconnect in the storage position has a first orientation to fluidically isolate the first port from the second port, and the interconnect in the use position has a second orientation rotated with respect to the first orientation to fluidically connect the first port to the second port.

In one example, a container for holding printing fluid includes a chamber to hold a printing fluid and an inelastic, expandable, and contractible bag occupying space in the chamber. The exterior of the bag is exposed to an interior of the chamber and an interior of the bag is sealed against the interior of the chamber and vented to the atmosphere.

Printing fluid container

Examples of a container assembly are disclosed herein. An example of the container assembly includes a first body to supply printing composition and a second body to store reserve printing composition. The example of the container assembly additionally includes an interconnect having a storage position to fluidically isolate the first body from the second body and a use position to fluidically connect the first body to the second body to allow the reserve printing composition to flow from the second body to the first body as needed to replenish the printing composition in the first body and to allow air in the first body displaced by the reserve printing composition to flow from the first body to the second body.

Examples of a container assembly are disclosed herein. An example of the container assembly includes a regulated tank to supply printing composition and a free tank to supply reserve printing composition to the regulated tank. The container assembly also includes a regulator assembly to control flow of the reserve printing composition from the free tank to the regulated tank and an inflation assembly to prime the regulated tank to supply the printing composition. The container assembly additionally includes a labyrinth to fluidically isolate the flow of ambient air into and out of the regulator assembly from the flow of a supply of air into the inflation assembly.

An example apparatus includes a housing including a first chamber and a second chamber, the housing defining a first port to fluidly couple the first chamber to a printer, the housing including a second port to fluidly couple the first chamber and the second chamber; a bladder disposed in the first chamber, the bladder being inflatable to increase a pressure within the first chamber; and a regulator to regulate fluid flow from the second chamber to the first chamber and to deter fluid flow from the first chamber to the second chamber.

Fluid containers

A fluid container usable with an image forming apparatus is disclosed. The fluid container includes a housing unit, a free-fluid chamber disposed in the housing unit and configured to store fluid, and a regulated chamber disposed in the housing unit. The regulated chamber includes a regulator unit, an outlet and a plurality of states. The regulator unit is configured to regulate respective fluid therein. The outlet is configured to transport the respective fluid from the regulated chamber. The fluid container also includes a plurality of valves disposed in the housing unit. At least one of the valves is configured to selectively stop fluid communication between the regulated chamber and the free-fluid chamber based on the respective state of the regulated chamber.

A fluid container usable with an image forming apparatus including a receiving unit having a plurality of receiver slots is disclosed. The fluid container includes a housing unit including a plurality of wall portions and a fluid chamber to store fluid therein. The housing unit is to removably attach to a respective receiver slot of the receiving unit. The fluid container includes a first key set disposed on an exterior surface of one wall portion of the housing unit. The first key set is to form a first key pattern corresponding to a conforming first receiver key pattern of a respective receiver slot. The fluid container includes a second key set disposed on an exterior surface of an other wall portion of the housing unit. The second key set is to form a second key pattern corresponding to a conforming second receiver key pattern of the respective receiver slot.

A fluid container usable with an image forming apparatus having a fluid container receiver is disclosed. The fluid container includes a housing unit including a free-fluid chamber to store a first fluid and a regulated chamber to store a second fluid. The regulated chamber includes a regulator unit configured to regulate the second fluid and an outlet configured to transport the second fluid outside of the housing unit. The fluid container also includes a fluid channel configured to establish fluid communication between ambient atmosphere and the free-fluid chamber, and a check valve configured to establish fluid communication between the free-fluid chamber and the regulated chamber.

An integrated multifunctional valve device includes a surface member having a first port and a second port formed therein, a flexible disk member having a central portion and a surrounding portion, a first seat member extending outward from the surface member and coupled to the surrounding portion of the flexible disk member, a second seat member extending outward from the surface member and surrounded by the first seat member. The central portion is movable between an open port position to establish fluid communication between the respective ports and a close port position to stop the fluid communication between the respective ports. The second seat member is configured to selectively receive the central portion of the flexible disk member corresponding to the close port position. The integrated multifunctional valve device also includes an actuator member configured to selectively move the central portion of the flexible disk member into the open port position and the close port position.
