An intersomatic prosthesis with lateral introduction with a prosthesis body symmetrical along a sagittal plane is provided. The intersomatic prosthesis includes a convex anterior lateral wall along an anterior radius of curvature and a convex posterior lateral wall along a posterior radius of curvature larger than the anterior radius of curvature, a right end wall and a left end wall, and a lower bearing wall and an upper bearing wall open onto an inner space. The lower bearing wall has a central lower portion provided with lower teeth having lower bearing tips defining a lower bearing surface which is planar, and the upper bearing wall has a central upper portion provided with upper teeth having upper bearing tips defining an upper bearing surface which is convex.

Intersomatic prosthesis with lateral introduction

An implant device is used for maintaining a distraction or compression element and includes a rod linked to implants by support devices having a threaded stud and a head for interaction with a support piece. The support piece has a device for attaching and blocking a distraction or compression element. The threaded piece includes two zones, namely a distal end zone having a conical profile and a screw thread with wide turns, configured for cancellous bone, and a proximal zone having a conical profile with a conicity angle smaller than the conicity angle of the distal portion, with a narrow screw thread, configured for bone cortex, namely including sharp, thin, deep screw threads, whereas the web is flat.

Implant device

Various methods, devices, and systems are disclosed that facilitate easier and more compact implantation of osteosynthesis devices. In some embodiments, implants are screwed into two vertebrae and a plate is used to hold and displace the spine. In some plate embodiments, at least one longitudinally elongated opening is disposed at one end of the plate and partially opening onto an edge of the plate. In some plate embodiments, at least one longitudinally elongated opening is disposed at one end of the plate having a portion sufficiently large to be inserted without disassembly in the fixation means of an implant already screwed into the spine when the fixation means are already assembled.

Intervertebral arthrodesis for insertion in an intervertebral space separating opposite faces of two adjacent vertebrae has a ring shaped intervertebral cage having a bar that extends perpendicular to the axis of the spine. The bar has a height less than the rest of the cage. A surface of the cage contacting the vertebrae has an undulating shape for limiting sliding of the cage in a plane parallel to the vertebrae faces.

Plate for osteosynthesis device and preassembly method

The present invention relates to an osteosynthesis device, particularly for spinal support or correction, enabling easier and compact implantation, that can be particularly used in the case of implantation via the anterior approach, and a preassembly method for such a device. Said device comprises implants screwed into two vertebrae and one plate characterized in that the plate is joined to at least one implant by attachment structure able to hold said plate without preventing the implant from rotating on its screwing axis, or without preventing a specified clearance of the plate with respect to the implant. In this way, said attachment structure make it possible to continue screwing the implant, or adjust the position of the plate after the plate has been on the implant.

Progressive approach osteosynthesis device and preassembly method

An osteosynthesis device is proposed, particularly for spinal support or correction, enabling easier and compact implantation, that can be particularly used in the case of implantation via the anterior approach, and a preassembly method for such a device. In various embodiments, the device comprises implants screwed into two vertebrae () and a plate () used to hold and displace the spine. In various embodiments, the plate () comprises on at least one of its ends at least one longitudinally elongated opening, the opening having firstly at least one part opening onto an edge of the plate, or one part of a sufficiently large size (s) to be able to be inserted without disassembly in the fixation means of an implant () already screwed into the spine when the fixation means are already assembled.
