Method, apparatus, and systems for flexible aperiodic reference signal (RS) transmissions are provided. For example, a method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for wireless communications comprises receiving configuration information of one or more sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, each SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets is associated with a slot offset and a set of slot offset deltas; receiving downlink control information (DCI) indicating an SRS request, the SRS request indicates an SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets; determining an SRS configuration from a set of SRS configurations for SRS transmissions; determining a slot for transmitting an SRS based on the determined SRS configuration; and transmitting, in the determined slot, the SRS using resources of the indicated SRS resource set.

Methods and apparatus for flexible aperiodic SRS transmission

Methods and apparatuses are described herein for selective one-shot hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by priority level. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine a priority associated with each transport block (TB). The each TB may correspond to respective HARQ processes associated with downlink transmissions from a base station (BS). The WTRU may receive, from the BS, a request for the one-shot HARQ feedback with an indication of a priority selected for the one-shot HARQ feedback. The WTRU may generate a HARQ codebook for transmission of the one-shot feedback. The HARQ codebook may comprise one or more information bits corresponding to one or more TBs determined based on the indicated priority. The WTRU may determine, based on a number of the one or more information bits, a transmission power and transmit, at the transmission power, the one-shot feedback comprising the generated HARQ codebook.

Reliable HARQ-ACK transmission in unlicensed spectrum

Methods, apparatus, systems, architectures and interfaces for performing a configured grant (CG) uplink (UL) transmission are provided. The method includes receiving configuration information associated with a plurality of CG configurations for CG UL transmission; determining to transmit the CG UL transmission according to any of: (1) a set of available channel bandwidths, (2) a number of code block groups (CBGs), and (3) transmission parameters associated with the CG UL transmission; selecting a first CG configuration according to any of: (1) the set of available channel bandwidths, (2) the number of code block groups (CBGs), and (3) the transmission parameters associated with the CG UL transmission; and transmitting any number of CBGs as the CG UL transmission using resources associated with the selected first configuration, wherein the resources of the selected first CG configuration are entirely within the set of available channel bandwidths.

Methods and apparatus for configured grant transmission in unlicensed spectrum

A WTRU is configured to receive information to transmit uplink data indicating a first number of nominal repetitions and a first number of symbols for transmission in each of the first number of nominal repetitions. The WTRU is configured to determine a set of symbols associated with a first nominal repetition of the first number of nominal repetitions and is configured to transmit, based on the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition, a second number of actual repetitions in symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions and the symbols used to transmit the second number of actual repetitions are based on an occurrence of an event during the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions is determined based on whether the event is a COT and the COT is initiated by the WTRU.

Methods and apparatus for PUSCH repetition

Methods and apparatuses for scheduling sidelink communications in unlicensed spectrum are disclosed. A method performed by a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may comprise: obtaining a grant for transmission on a sidelink (SL); receiving, from a second WTRU or an additional WTRU, a transmission that includes first channel occupancy time (COT) information; on a condition that the grant is for transmission on the SL during a COT associated with the second WTRU or an additional WTRU, determining, from a transmission received from the second WTRU, the additional WTRU, or both the second and the additional WTRU, cast information; performing a listen before talk (LBT) procedure using a set of parameters associated with information received from the second WTRU or additional WTRU; and on a condition that the LBT procedure is successful, transmitting, based on the determined cast information, data that includes second COT information.

Radio (NR) vehicle to vehicle (V2X)—methods for scheduling sidelink in unlicensed spectrum

A method, performed by a wireless transmit receive unit for of activating or deactivating at least one in-carrier guard band in a bandwidth part includes receiving a configuration of a set of in carrier guard bands, receiving a channel resource configuration associated with a guard band of the set of in-carrier guard bands, and receiving an indication that the guard band is activated or deactivated. On condition that the guard band of the set of in-carrier guard bands is deactivated, performing a measurement on at least one received reference signal in resources of the channel resource configuration including resources in the deactivated guard band. On condition that the guard band is activated, performing a measurement on at least one received reference signal in resources of the channel resource configuration excluding resources in the activated guard band.

Methods for using in-carrier guard bands

A wireless device for determining wireless channel metrics and/or cell quality when accessing wireless resources. For example, the wireless device may use the determined channel metrics and/or cell quality when performing cell selection and/or cell reselection procedures. The wireless device may use the determined channel metrics and/or cell quality to trigger and report cell or frequency measurements in one or more cells neighboring the device's serving cell. The wireless device may use (e.g., further use) the determined channel metrics and/or cell quality to select a beam or sub-band for initial access to a cell. The wireless device may be employed within a wireless communications network that utilizes unlicensed wireless spectrum.
