An exercise assembly designed to exercise the upper body including the arms, shoulders, upper back and muscles associated therewith. The exercise assembly is thereby particularly, but not exclusively, adapted for use by an injured person or invalid having limited use of the legs and/or lower torso. A track assembly includes two track segments disposed in a convergent configuration and at least partially defining an open end dimensioned to receive a user, when in a seated, substantially upright position, at least partially therebetween. The user accesses two hand grips each linearly and reciprocally along the separate track segments. A resistance assembly includes a line interconnecting the hand grips and an adjustable resistance mechanism engaging the line so as to apply a movement restricting force thereto. An adjustable resistance is thereby applied to the linear, push/pull movement of the hand grips, as applied by the user.

Exercise assembly for the upper body

A method for cleaning teeth by abrasive oral irrigation with a slurry containing a granular dentifrice composition. The dentifrice composition is gravity fed to a liquid reservoir of an oral irrigation device of the type that provides a pulsed, liquid jet stream, and forms a slurry within the reservoir. The slurry is pumped from the device and applied under pressure to teeth and gums. The composition includes a particulate baking soda having granular particles with major dimension in the range 10 to 60 microns, and a flow agent in an amount sufficient to ensure smooth and continuous gravity feed of the composition into the reservoir. A method for making the composition is described.

Method for cleaning teeth by abrasive oral irrigation

A closed-environment wet-abrasive blasting system includes a vacuum device for recovering a waste stream of water, abrasive particulate and surface debris. The waste stream is filtered resulting in cleaned water recycling through the system. During operation, water is pumped from a water holding tank to a blast head. Also, abrasive particulate is forced from canister to the blast head. The abrasive material and water form a blast stream which impacts on a surface to treat the surface. The blast head is held to the surface during use by the suction force and defines a work volume over the surface under treatment. In effect, the blast head defines a closed environment in which abrasive particulate water and surface debris do not escape into the surrounding environment, but instead is captured. The vacuum force pulls the surface debris, abrasive particulate and water (i.e., waste stream) from the blast head along a vacuum hose into a recovery tank. There the waste stream accumulates while air passes on to the vacuum. As the waste accumulates, the level rises to a filter. The filter passes air and water, and substantially filters out the abrasive material and surface debris leaving the abrasive particulate and surface debris in the recovery tank. The water and air pass into the water holding tank. The air is pulled into the water recovery tank through a screen that breaks air bubbles up into smaller air bubbles.
