A control method for an electric seatbelt retractor and an electric seatbelt retractor including a spindle () and a seatbelt () wound thereon, and an electric motor () driving the spindle () via a rotor () in pull-in or in pull-out direction when activated, and a sensor device () detecting the movement of the spindle (), wherein a spring () is provided, which is arranged between the spindle () and the rotor () enabling a relative movement of the spindle () to the rotor () or to a retractor-fixed part, wherein the electric motor () is controlled by a signal of the sensor device () generated by the relative movement of the spindle () to the rotor () or a retractor-fixed part with torsional tensioning or expanding the spring ().

Control method for an electric seatbelt retractor and electric seatbelt retractor

A reversible seat belt tensioner including a rotationally operable plastic driven gear (), and a drive moved with a belt shaft of the belt tensioner. At least one coupling pawl () is provided on the drive gear, engaging a gearing of the drive gear upon activation of the reversible belt tensioner, and in a load-transmitting position produces a linkage between the driven gear () and the drive gear. A support ring () made of a material having a greater strength than the driven gear () is provided and is connected to the driven gear () for with a projection () which into a recess () of the driven gear (). The invention relates to a belt retractor with an electromotive winding aid () comprising a belt shaft () which is pretensioned in the winding-up direction by a spring and is mounted rotatably in a frame () of the belt retractor on which a belt strap () can be wound up. The electromotive winding aid () can be activated as a function of the belt-strap-retraction speed (BRS).
