The invention relates to a camera body comprising an optics interface configured for receiving projection optics, a holder coupled with the optics interface, a sensor arranged on the holder and configured for being movable relative to the optics interface along a stabilisation axis, circuitry connected to the sensor and configured for generating surveying data, the holder comprising a first frame and a first movable part that is connected to the first frame via a first solid-state joint, the sensor arranged on the first movable part, the first solid-state joint configured for providing a movability of the first movable part relative to the first frame along the stabilisation axis, a motor having a mover and a stator, the motor connected to the circuitry, the mover operatively linked with the first movable part, and the stator fixedly arranged relative to the first frame.

A hybrid LiDAR-imaging device is configured for aerial surveying and comprises a camera arrangement adapted for generating orthophoto data and a LiDAR device, in which an overall exposure area is provided by the camera arrangement, which has a transverse extension of at least 60 mm and the LiDAR device has a longitudinal extension axially along a ground viewing nominal LiDAR axis and a lateral extension substantially orthogonal to the nominal LiDAR axis, in which the longitudinal extension is larger than the lateral extension.

Hybrid LiDAR-imaging device for aerial surveying

A method and a hybrid 3D-imaging device for surveying of a city scape for creation of a 3D city model. According to the invention, lidar data is acquired simultaneously with the acquisition of imaging data for stereoscopic imaging, i.e. acquisition of imaging and lidar data in one go during the same measuring process. The lidar data is combined with the imaging data for generating a 3D point cloud for extraction of a 3D city model, wherein the lidar data is used for compensating and addressing particular problem areas of generic stereoscopic image processing, in particular areas with unfavourable lighting conditions and areas where the accuracy and efficiency of stereoscopic point matching and point extraction is strongly reduced.
