For the miniaturization of an investigation instrument (), which includes a sensor (), which is arranged in the interior of a long shaft () and is electrically contact-connected by a connection (), it is provided that a flexible bending section () is configured on the connection (), and is thus connected with a contact-connection section (), which is contact-connected with contacts () of the sensor () on the reverse side such that, firstly, the entire connection () is arranged in the shadow of the image sensor () and, secondly, the bending section () originates from the contact-connection section () within a field () which is subtended by the reverse-side contacts () of the sensor ().

Investigation instrument

An image recording method () and an image recording device () for recording a sequence of single images of a scene () are provided, wherein the scene () is illuminated using an illumination unit (), a light intensity generated by the illumination unit () is characterized by an illumination variable (), a setting of the illumination variable () is performed as long as a regulating reserve () of an optimum regulating range () of the exposure parameter () is present, and a setting of the illumination variable () is performed or repeated until the illumination variable () is within an optimum regulating range () of the illumination variable ().

Image recording method and image recording device

An endoscope () with an endoscope shaft () in which an illumination device () and a rotatably mounted image sensor () are arranged in a distal region () is provided, and includes a handle () in which a rotatably mounted heat sink () is arranged, wherein the image sensor () is thermally connected to the heat sink (), for conjoint rotation therewith, via a heat transmission element ().

Video endoscope

A high-frequency transmission of data between functional units, which are mounted rotatably with respect to each other, of an endoscope, is permitted in which the functional units can be electrically insulated from each other. For this, an electric connecting element which, in a central flexible portion, is rolled up transversely with respect to the direction of transmission and is fastened by its respective end portions to the functional units is provided. An uninterrupted electrical connection with consistent quality of the signal transmission can therefore be obtained even when the functional units are rotated in relation to each other. By the rolling up of the central portion to form a winding, which is preferably configured in a self-supporting manner, a long term stable rotary degree of freedom is created in a very simple manner for the connecting element, with this degree of freedom permitting complex mechanical adjustment functions in the endoscope.
