A dispensing closure () comprising an actuator disc () and a base () is provided. The disc is pivotally mounted on the base and is pivotable between a closed position which prevents fluid product dispensing and an open position which allows product fluid dispensing. The closure comprises a transport lock () for preventing the disc moving from the closed to the open position.

Closure

A dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base and a lid. The base includes a sidewall closed at one end by a top deck including a dispensing orifice. The base and lid are joined by a hinge to allow the lid to move between closed and open positions with respect to the base whereby to close and open the dispensing orifice. At the periphery of the top deck the sidewall forms or provides a raised lip. The lid closes onto the top deck and is bounded by the lip and the lid is generally flush with the lip when in the closed position.

A dosing syringe comprising a barrel and a piston is provided. The piston is slidably receivable in the barrel and can move within the barrel from a maximum inserted position to a withdrawn position to draw a dose of a product into the barrel. The syringe comprises means for pre-setting the withdrawn position, which defines a maximum dose which can be drawn into the barrel.

Dosing syringe

A push-button dispensing closure is provided and comprises a dispensing passage, a push button and a dosing chamber. The closure is movable between a first, closed position in which: the push button is released, the dosing chamber can fill with flowable product, and product cannot pass from the dosing chamber to the dispensing passage; and a second, open position in which: the push button is depressed such that product can flow from the dosing chamber through the dispensing passage and product cannot flow into the dosing chamber.

Dispensing closure

A dispensing tap has a body which is attached or attachable to a container. The body has a dispensing orifice, and a piston movable within the body between a dispensing position in which flowable product can pass through the orifice and a sealing position in which fluid cannot pass through the orifice. The piston has one or more dispensing apertures through which product can pass when the piston is in the dispensing position to reach the dispensing orifice.

Dispenser

A dosing device is provided and comprises: a dosing chamber having an inlet through which product can enter from a container; an outlet into which product flows from the chamber and through which product flows out of the device; a siphon member located around the outlet; a vent opening in the chamber; a container-side vent which opens into the container, in which: the siphon member terminates at a level L1 with respect to the outlet; the outlet opens into the chamber at a level L2; such that in use product flows into the chamber through the inlet/s and fills the chamber until L2 is reached and then product is siphoned from the chamber into the outlet by the siphon member, the siphoning continuing until product in the chamber reaches L1, whereupon: air entering the vent opening interrupts the siphoning; and air vents into the container through the container-side vent such that thereafter recharging of the chamber repeats, in which a chicane is provided for preventing leakage of product through the vent opening.

Dosing device

A roll-on applicator ball and a method of forming the roll-on applicator ball, the roll-on applicator ball comprising a first half ball part and a second half ball part. A generally annular connecting ring connects the ball halves together.

A moulding machine suitable for producing an article having two or more parts, the moulding machine comprising two or more mould sections for respective article parts and an in-mould pick and place mean. A moulding machine including one or more moulds and a robot pick-and-place system, in which the robot pick-and-place system is fixed to a mould. A method of forming an article having two or more parts, in which a first part of the article is moulded in a first mould section of a moulding machine comprising two or more mould sections for respective article parts and an in-mould pick and place means, and the in-mould pick and place means moves a moulded first part of the article from the first mould section to a second mould section of the two or more mould sections.

Moulding machines

A thermoformed article having two or more parts () is provided. A first part is formed from a first thermoplastic material and a second part () is formed from a second thermoplastic material. The first and second materials are mutually incompatible. One of the parts () has one or more projections () and the other part () has one or more corresponding cavities () into which the projections are formed. In which the mouth of the or each cavity is narrower than at least part of the or each projection such that the shape of the or each projection allows withdrawal from but resists reinsertion into the or each cavity.
