A valve assembly with a valve body, which has a fluid passage designed as a fluid inlet and at least one fluid passage designed as a fluid outlet, is disclosed. A fluid chamber connecting the fluid inlet to the at least one fluid outlet is formed in the valve body. A movably mounted closing body is positioned in the fluid chamber. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball. The at least one guide ball is arranged between the closing body and a lateral delimitation of the fluid chamber. A fluid passage is formed in the radial direction of the valve body.

The disclosure relates to a valve assembly, comprising a valve body, in which a fluid channel is formed that connects a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, wherein a preload force is applied to a closing body, which is movably mounted in the fluid channel, in the direction of a valve seat formed in the valve body, a fluid force acting on the closing body against the preload force in order to open the valve seat. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball, the guide ball being arranged between the closing body and a lateral boundary of the fluid channel.

A valve for variable throttling of a hydraulic flow includes a tappet and a guide element in which the tappet is guided for movement in a stroke direction. The valve also includes at least one fatigue-resistant, mechanical member that locally reduces a radial play of the tappet so as to reduce possible valve oscillations.

A piston pump is configured to convey pressure medium in a pressure medium circuit, in particular in a braking circuit of a motor vehicle braking system that may be electronically controlled to counteract slip. The pump piston delimits an operating chamber and is received in a displaceable manner in a pump cylinder and may be driven to produce a stroke movement that goes back and forth between two reversing positions. The operating chamber may be connected in a controllable manner to a pump inlet or outlet. A pressure medium connection is provided from the pump outlet to the operating chamber, said pressure medium connection is controllable in dependence upon a relative position of the pump piston with respect to the first reversing position. Pressure pulsations of the piston pump are prevented and the operating noise is reduced.

In a method for controlling a hydraulic braking system, wherein the braking system includes a hydraulic pump that is driven by an electric motor so as to generate a volume of fluid flow for the hydraulic braking system. the electric motor is controlled in such a manner that fluid pulsation in the hydraulic braking system is counteracted by means of modulating a rotational speed of the electric motor. The modulation is generated by means of the control procedure. Furthermore, a device is designed and configured so as to perform the method.

Brake fluid displaced out of the piston pump lifts the perforated disk-shaped throttle off from the annular support, with which a dynamic throttle is formed. A throttle channel which negotiates the annular support in the perforated disk-shaped throttle also enables a throughflow in the case of a throttle lying on the annular support.

A valve device includes a valve body that forms a throttle cross section and a valve element that sets the throttle cross section depending on the pressure. To avoid pulsation-induced noises, the valve element is configured with a flow-deflecting member that causes action upon the valve element with a transverse force. A reciprocating pump, in particular a hydraulic pump of a slip-controlled vehicle braking system, includes a step piston, a differential pressure valve, and a pump outlet. The step piston includes a piston step that delimits a stepped space which is in communication with the pump outlet via the differential pressure valve. The piston step is configured such that the step space undergoes suction and displacement in a direction opposite to a displacement space, and in smaller quantities than suction and displacement in the displacement space, such that brake fluid volume flow in the pump outlet is evened out, and such that pressure pulsations are inhibited.

A damping device, for example for damping pressure pulses in a brake circuit of a slip-controllable hydraulic vehicle brake system, includes a damper chamber with a pressure medium volumetric capacity, which can be varied in a pressure-dependent manner, and a flow resistor connected downstream thereof. Disadvantageously, the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device is not available for the brake pressure build-up when the brake pressure is generated by the driver, and the pedal travel on a brake master cylinder of a vehicle brake system is therefore lengthened. A mechanism limits the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device in the case of a passive braking operation. In the case of partially active or fully active braking operations, in contrast, the mechanism has no effect and the full scope of the pressure medium volumetric capacity of the damping device is available for damping pressure pulses.
