An aircraft with an aircraft fuselage, and a passenger cabin and a cockpit, where the aircraft includes a center-forward attendant space between the passenger cabin and the cockpit. A cabin crew member of the aircraft can stand in the center-forward attendant space for monitoring progress of an emergency evacuation of the aircraft. The aircraft has one or more emergency exits for providing egress of passengers from the aircraft fuselage during the emergency evacuation. The aircraft also has a situational awareness monitoring (SAM) system for use in evacuating the passengers from the aircraft during the emergency evacuation. The SAM system includes one or more imaging devices and one or more display modules, each of which displays within the passenger cabin images captured by a corresponding one of the one or more imaging devices.

An adapter rail system for mounting objects to a floor rail in a vehicle includes an elongate adapter rail element, an arresting element and a movement rail element. The adapter rail element has a surface contour having regularly consecutively arranged neckings and widenings, which surface contour corresponds to an opening contour of a floor rail, which includes regularly consecutively arranged grid openings, which are penetrated by a slit. The adapter rail element has protrusions extending perpendicular to the plane spanned by the surface contour and are each arranged in the region of a necking. The arresting element has a surface contour corresponding to the opening contour of at least one grid opening. The arresting element is dimensioned to be flush between two adjacent protrusions of the adapter rail element onto the adapter rail element. The movement rail element is connectable with the protrusions of the adapter rail element.

Adapter rail system and method for mounting an object to a floor rail in a transportation system

In order to enhance sliding movement and reconfiguration of vehicle seats while using a simple construction, a seat fastening device is provided for fastening vehicle seats in a vehicle. The seat fastening device comprises a seat rail with a T-shaped profile portion and a carriage enclosing an upper part of the T-shaped profile portion. The carriage includes a seat fixation device for fixing a vehicle seat, wherein the carriage includes a clamp arrangement for clamping the carriage onto the T-shaped profile portion. The carriage has a base body and first and second bracket clamps so that the carriage has a C-shaped channel section receiving the T-shaped profile portion. The height of the C-shaped channel section can be adjusted by at least one screw in order to clamp the carriage onto the T-shaped profile portion.

Disclosed is a securing device for providing a movable unit of a linear guiding mechanism with additional safety in that the securing device prevents the movable unit from coming off a guiding rail in case of a bearing malfunction. The securing device comprises at least one securing portion and a coupling portion for coupling the at least one securing portion to the movable unit. The securing portion is engageable with the guiding rail in case of a failure of the movable unit.

To provide a simple seat fastening device with enhanced flexibility and the possibility of an easy movement of vehicle seats, a seat fastening device for fastening vehicle seats in a vehicle is provided comprising a seat track and a slider in a sliding engagement with the seat track. An interior component for an interior room of an aircraft is provided. The interior component includes a body having a first surface and a second surface and a multitude of functional modules which form a passenger service unit. The second surface is arranged opposite to the first surface and comprises a recess. A luggage compartment for a means of transport and a means of transport with a luggage compartment are provided. The luggage compartment comprises a housing with a pivotably attached connecting element and with a sliding element. The connecting element is adapted for being pivotably attached to a first structural element and the sliding element is adapted for moving along a rail connected to a second structural element. The luggage compartment is easy to manufacture and to maintain.

A device for locking an equipment item onto a locking track attached to the floor of a cabin includes a support component, the underside of which includes a insertion section adapted to the contour of a longitudinal slot of the locking track, where the insertion section can be inserted into the locking track, and on the support component a sliding section that can be inserted into the locking track is guided so it can be longitudinally shifted, the outer contour of which corresponds to that of the insertion section, wherein the sliding section can be shifted in the locking track relative to the support component in order to lock the support component on the locking track.
