The invention relates to a valve train () for an internal combustion engine, having a first rocker arm () which is mounted on a rocker shaft () so as to be pivotable around a pivot axis () in relation to the rocker shaft (), having a first gas exchange valve () which can be actuated by pivoting the rocker arm () around the pivot axis () in relation to the rocker shaft () and can thus be moved translationally, and having a second gas exchange valve (). An intermediate piece () is provided which is formed separately from the first rocker arm () and mounted on the rocker shaft () so as to be pivotable around the pivot axis () in relation to the rocker shaft (), can be actuated by pivoting of first rocker arm () around the pivot axis () and in relation to the rocker shaft () by means of the first rocker arm () and can thus be pivoted around the pivot axis () in relation to the rocker shaft (), whereby the second gas exchange valve () can be actuated and can thus be moved translationally.
